Lots of salty brazilian tears on the news today, they are bitching to everyone from Scholari to the president of the country :D Sure Scholari didn't have much to offer once the shit hit the fan, but the Brazilian team sucked pretty much the entire game, good two or three minutes in the start, but after that it was all German glory. I felt bad for that guy Fred when the bra-silly-ans booed him every time he touched the ball, like it was all his fault. Sure he scored no goals, but c'mon. Brazil didn't deserve to win, but with this bitching and whining they sure deserved to lose. Just face it, when it comes to football, good old Europe is still on top :)

Fred wearing the Selecao #9 is a huge deal. Great players wore that number before him, he wasn't good enough.

Plus that whole fiasco with Diego Costa was terrible for them up front.

And that comes back to Scolari, he said last week --

"‘If you lose in the first round after the group stage that’s not the end of our lives. We’re going to continue as a manager and players but we go after the final.
‘This is a path we’re going after and we have the skills to get there. Brazil continue in the tournament with one hand on the Cup.
‘But some opponents more difficult than others. They have different characteristics and we play Col respecting their football but they’re probably saying the same things.
‘If you like it you like if you don’t you don’t, just go to hell." --- Scolari speaking to the press 6 days before the Columbia game.

That guy deserved to lose. He did't motivate the team and was terrible tactically.

The team was not prepared and we saw that all over the pitch.

Oh and btw, historically, Europe only has one more World Cup win that South America does.

And Brazil has the most wins of all time with 5.

And if Argentina lose, then Europe will have two more World Cups that South America.

Not a huge number but not insignificant i guess, your call.

Don´t care about Argentina, Netherlands are the Problem,..

Netherlands the problem? LOL!

the Dutch played against Argentina using the same exact tactics used by Iran, afraid to go after the ball, bunkered up in front of their goal, and awaiting a mistake from Argentina to counter-attack.

in short, the Dutch played against Argentina like every other team in the world cup, using the Italian Catenacho, except for Nigeria that is.

The Germans are now debating whether to use the same tactics, to bunkered up and await for defense mistakes from Argentina to counter-attack, or if they will go out and play actual football, like they have been doing greatly so far.

I'm inclined to say that the Germans are proud enough to dismiss the option of using Catenacho, and will go out to play real football, to go after the ball and try to score; this will make for a very interesting game, as many spaces in their defense will then become available for Messi, Higuain and Di Maria (hopefully fully recovered by sunday).

In that scenario, anyone can take the game, but with an obvious advantage for Argentina based purely on individual talents.

now, if Germany chooses to play anti-football (cetenacho), and decides to bunker up and close all spaces, then it will be a very difficult game for Argentina as the Germans are light years ahead of any of the opponents Argentina has had up until now, as their counter-attack abilities are based on excellent speed and team work.

we will see what happens though; Argentina is way more hungry and motivated than the Germans, specially since most of Brasil will be cheering for Germany, regardless of the 7-1, since they just hate Argentina and will side with anyone before siding with Argentina, and that just fuels Argentina's motivation to take the cup in Brazil, which would be a national disaster for the Brazilians.

Hold your Fire, I agree with you, this is destiny, we will see what comes out of this, I have irrational trust and confidence in Argentina, only love for them.

Another lesson from Argentina to Brazil is exactly that, unconditional love, no matter what, the fans will never boo their own team nor will they suddenly side with the opponent once they start loosing, like the Brazilians did in the game against Germany.

Vamos Argentina Carajo!!!!!!!
