They are shit? Or they are the shit? lol ;)

THE shit mate

Hey SB, you mentioned the ETALINE RUK fans that are similar. Have you tried them? I did a quick search the other day and couldn't find any listings for them :/

dont think that was me was it? mighta mentioned the isomax, but for me its all about the hyperfan - hands down the most impressive fan I've seen, the air comes out in a straight bolt. I've stood atleast say 5-6 metres away from one and it was a straight bolt of air hitting me, wheres you couldnt feel fuck all from the tornado it was up against

Never used a hyper fan but have used the Etalines and I would recommend them but the air whoosh noise on full chatter needs silencing with a silencer if you ask me as it shifts shit loads of air.

Let's see it then fella :)

Zamzia mate, I can second SB... the Hyperfan is the shit indeed. It's small, silent, simple, convenient, and the most important... POWERFUL. Tested it a few times already and I don't dare to go further than 50%... the thing is a bloody JET engine

Amazing airflow especially considering the size of it. Be interesting when I get it side by side with my rvk 6" fan.

always amazes me how people call snake oil with no fucking clue bout the products they're talking down

People see a bottle called "liquid heat/ice".. and the naturally wonder how it works and what the science is behind it, because a claim like that is a big one to make, considering the fact that nobody in horticulture or science has been able to overcome nature as yet, in regards to making plants almost immune to harsh environmental changes.

Unfortunately people get defensive because they take implication of snake oil to mean they're naive for buying it.

fuck the science - my own experience works for me

That's where your own anecdotes fall short vs science, because scientific fact means it works for everyone.

nice thread guys,

I am about to setup a 1.5x1.5x 2m Secret Jardin tent and need silence for stealth.

My question is, these hyper fans,

I see ones advertised such as zamzia post above, but i also see phresh hyper fans also.

Is the same tech used, and is the phresh one more for stealth…

curious before I go looking….

same fan mate, hyper made by phresh, turned down low there very quite, turn it up on speed control and will get louder. have 8inch on heat control set on low speed when temp reaches 27c, can't hear it outside on low , but I can hear my water bubbler going in water tank so I might just shoot that bastard.

I wonder how something like this would work for a smallish space .. http://i.imgur.com/aVMpFS9.png i'm trying to work out how to calculate thermal properties for various liquids - water - oil etc for heat storage per cubic unit. if the air temp dropped below water temp. it'd stabilise it upwards too. I suppose just water mass would give some thermal inertia, but an active system would be loads better surely. anyone got any experience of something like this ?
