In the post you have quoted Finn i am talking about club teams so how could the world cup be showing i am not right? If you look at the majority of players that have scored in this world cup where have they played their club football ? Europe :tiphat:

thats problem not skill players. thats problem style region soccer.
and popularity this sport in country.
But obvious in Europe Soccer have more success like America, in club lvl.
but players, have same skill, (Messi vs Ronaldo) for example .

I don't mean this to be cheeky fnn but i am guessing English is not your first language because you seem to be misunderstanding me and to be honest i have not got a clue what you are trying to say sorry:ying:

I enjoyed the Uragauy teams gameplay in the group matches

but wtf people freak out in the cup every year,

Remember? the year the famous french player headbutt's the Italian player
again, lol Italian...see a pattern here, we get under peoples skin

Also, if I was USA player defending Reinaldo on that last second goal/pass
I would have checked him hard for Murrica'
and also he was out of the box and was best play in hindsight hehe

This whole Suarez thing has become embarrassing for Uragauy. Its now the English media fault for the ban not this brain dead idiot's fault who cant reframe from biting another player in a 90 min game of football on the world stage. The disgraced striker even returned home to a heros welcome ha ha, clearly his actions are acceptable in Uragauy.

He keeps doing it so the punishment will keep getting harsher every time. They weren't punishing for the last two times he bit someone. They're punishing him more each time to maybe keep him from acting like f'ing animal.

Just like any other legal system or sports league. The more times you do wrong the worse the punishment gets each time. No different from the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc etc.

Guess what? If he does it again they'll probably ban him from 24 months and charge him 200,000 francs. They'll keep upping the punishment until the dumb bastard quits or gets kicked out forever.

"Suarez will not be allowed to carry out any football-related activities for four months and was also fined €82,000.

However, Chiellini said in a statement on his official website, giorgiochiellini.com: "At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult time.

"I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive."

Suarez has left Uruguay's national team in Brazil and returned home to Montevideo but Chiellini says the player should have been allowed to remain with his team-mates despite the punishment.

He continued: "I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team-mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player.

"Now inside me there are no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done.
There only remains the anger and the disappointment about the match."

So, in short, all of you who want to burn Suarez at the stake are just so wrong it is not even funny; some of you are so confused about life that you compared the event in the game to real crime LOL!!!!

enough said about that, if you get it you get it, if you don't, you don't, and that's that.

tonight (at least out here) the next round begins, my predictions are:

Brazil vs. Chile: Brazil wins, not because they are playing better than Chile, which they are not, but Chile has no one who knows how to score goals, while in Brazil anyone can score a goal if given the chance. I'd like Chile to win, but I just don't see it.

Colombia vs. Uruguay: Colombia will win is my guess, but with the whole Suarez thing, Uruguay's players may just win with just pure Cojones, as they usually do anyway... I'd like to see Colombia win though, but they have way too many injured key players, bad luck I guess.

beer is in the fridge, peanuts in the shell are roasted and salted, and it is just a matter of time... it's hot as balls out here atm, 35 degrees Celsius, but by tonight it should go down at least 5 degrees hopefully.

peace all!

No i think you will find Bombadil its you that's so fucking stupid that you can't get your head around the fact that he is a repeat offender so the punishment increases as re offends because he obviously never learned his lesson the first 2 times, the guy is being watched by millions on the tv with countless kids looking to him as a role model , but you think its fine for kids to see there idol repeatably biting people on a football park .:moon:
Also the lack of any response on the who has the best club teams is very telling making it quite obvious who was well and truly schooled yesterday :dance013:

blah blah blah the kids, oh the poor children! LOL!!!

get over it, Chiellini already did, why can't you?

Even Holyfield forgave Tyson... but you are still stuck on a bite that did not even leave a mark the next day...

what a wussy you are.

The best clubs are South American, as already proved by the Intercontinental Cup; why you keep bringing up such embarrassing facts for the Europeans?

If all the best South American players play for the best European teams and so do the best European players and the best African players , basically most of the best players in the world play in Europe its obvious that Europe has the best club teams to anybody with half a brain ,as i explained to you before the European clubs have no interest in the intercontinental cup because the SA club teams are average at best so they don't really care about it as its meaningless , but you still can't get your head around it because you are clueless , who does Messi play for Ronaldo,Neymar,Bale,Iniesta,Suarez the list goes on you could hardly pick a player playing in South America that's scored a goal in the world cup yet because they all play in Europe and anyone that does still play in SA that does well will get signed by a European club yet you still think South American clubs are better

dude, you need to get over the fact that South American clubs have a clear advantage over European clubs as proven by the only competition where both can play against each other: The Intercontinental Cup.

But I'm repeating myself, as are you; only difference is that I'm right and you are wrong :D

:tiphat:

Biggest fear for European Football now is that the World Cup stays in South America this time...

I am happy to call it a draw even though i clearly won for the sake of getting the thread back on topic:dance013: i honestly hope Argentina win it as long as Messi keeps playing the way he is and Chile and Columbia have been my 2 favorites teams to watch so far so i am hoping they both win today and i have to admit i did agree with your predictions for today results :ying:
As for Europe fearing the cup staying in SA i think they expect it given the fact that no European team has ever won the cup outside of Europe except for Spain :tiphat:

The Uruguay striker wrote in Spanish that "in no way it happened how you have described, as a bite or intent to bite."

The player's defence is in paragraph six of FIFA's ruling, which has been seen by The Associated Press.

Suarez wrote: "After the impact... I lost my balance, making my body unstable and falling on top of my opponent. At that moment I hit my face against the player, leaving a small bruise on my cheek and a strong pain in my teeth."

Like Bombaldi , Suarez is literally delusional or do they think WE are stupid.......whats in the water down there?

i hope no bad ref calls ruin the mexico holland game tomorrow. like bad offsides calls hand or mano as we call it uncalled like with croatia. it ticks me off when the refs mess it up. the hulk guy did score fairly to make it 2 just the angle made it seem like a foul i dont like brazil i wanted chile to win they were so close c´mon colombia go get these punks. i like cheering for underdogs but mexico is my team regardless.....Mexico Mexico Mexico lets go get holland. group play has showed that we have potential i want mexico to kick out costa rica they owe us one and because they will most likely go to quarterfinals but if holland wins im going for costa rica all the way.....only because holland is my favorite to win the cup it doesnt mean i like them lol. if anything i will be cheering for their opponent unless its brazil then you guys better win this time unlike with spain last cup. spain lol first to go home this time you know a germany holland final is looking very possible i hope colombia beats brazil so they dont even paly for 3rd place haha. i really really hate brazil beause i dont like that their so confident in winning the cup. so c mon all teams except holland and brazil prove me wrong about you losing tomorrow mexico. im pessimistic because a win tastes so much sweeter this way and a loss not so bitter, unless the ref messed it up for us then i will be mad.

I totally believe that "what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch",, in my short carrer with millwall fc,,Ipswich town fc and finally 3 years at Chelsea fc,, I was sent off 4 times over the years,,
and although I deserved it at the time plus playing in games that were very "physical",,i can assure you once the final whistle is blown then the same players that were "kicking lumps out of each" other are now having a drink and a laugh in the players bar,,
that's a fact,,nearly all is forgiven on the pitch once the whistle goes,,,,bottom line is a damn shame we are not going to see suarez in the rest of the world club ,,,,now the "real" games commence,,s2:tiphat:

Colombia looked great.

Netherlands v Mexico coming up shortly!!!!

Not really rooting for either team, just looking forward to a great match.

That being said, I'd be betting on Robben, Van Persie, and co.
