What's new

Black Cream, Red Poison and Dark Devil in Arctic Circle

S

scai

I'll do one of my first autogrows.

Got my seeds on friday, Black Creams went to soil on sunday and now we have rest to put in soil.

Mind you it's only monday.

What I intend to do is make some nice autos in the nightless summer of Arctic Circle.
I want to see how they perform in my greenhouse.
Have three seeds of each and one is always donated for making some seeds.
I'm planning to turn them with Tiresias mist or silver colloid, which ever works best.
In same time I have some more red plants coming on.
Flo, Old time Moonshine, Peyote Purple, PCK and so on.

Because I have no idea which of them are males, or if there is males at all...will have to wait and see what kind on red crosses we are able to make.

This is very exiting grow and I hope everything goes well and I have plenty of material to tell you ;)

Sincerely Scai

Thanks jaypp, I'll do my best.
First of all, I had to five some Nilnat to them.
Nasty, small mites ( orwhat ever they are) were munching away those roots....

Hi scai!

Sounds very good, thanks for sharing :D

Nice choice of strains, I'm expecting a colourful diary so I'll keep passing by to check it out ;)

Sweet smokes!

Thankyou Tommy, I hope I will have something to please you ;)

The colour is main reason why I choose them. They are magnificent ;)
Then, at first, I wasn't so keen on autos, but...I'm more in to regulars.
The more I read about them and got used to the idea, I got excited ;)

Good strenght, nice color, short period and good crop. What more can I wish for?

I usually plant germinated seed in to black soil and put some Mykorrhiza around those little roots. Wet them with willow water and it should give them a good start.

I went to see Black Creams, which I planted on sunday. Seeds came on friday, (by the way...) and they are already 3 cm long, amazing vigour.
All three varieties got on their way well.
Dark Devil and Red Poison are about 1 cm and throwing already off their "hoods".
They must be among the most quick seeds I ever seen?

And I like it.
I like to see RED! :D

Black Creams all have reddish stems.
They show red color best.
Dark Delvils, two greenish ones, one showing more purple.
Red Poison, one is not probably going to make it.It was topled over and it might be that root was damaged.Others show some red in them.
Well, have to place her wit one new seed.
Need to have three of each.

Girls spent a first night out.You can see some purple hint in stems. That's promesing.
I suppose they will show more red as the climate is cool now, that should trigger color.
Anyway, they are bit lanky because they were under artificial light, now under northern sun, so they will sturdy up ;)
Thanks for encouraging you all ;)

hi bro, thanks for the pics ;)
i think you need to put these plants in a bigger pot right now. You are in risk of having small plants!
goo luck!

Ahaa, okei, thanks Jaypp.I don't have much experience of autos.
So you say that if roots touch wall, the plant is triggered to flower?

I saw this advice in Aces forum where someone had advice to control Zamaldelicas semiauto behavior.

Any better now?

All looking good bro!

Yes, transplant them to a bigger pot in about 10 days. Just enough time for the roots to spread a bit and you can transplant them.

Keep it up and sweet smokes!

All been transplanted, but....
It's damn cold spell that we are having. They haven't grown all that much.
Red Poison is not liking it at all.
Her color has gone bleached yellowgreen, all others are ok.
They enjoyed nettletea yesterday and that should perk them up a bit.

I think I'm drying some nettles for the winter. It such a good nutrient.

I can't blame them fot beeing slow.At night 6-8 C and daytime is about 15 C if sun shines.
In greenhouse is bit warmer, but not much.

But I'm not in hurry.Let them do what they want and I'm taking some photos soon.

This is only to say that their growth has been delayed..and it's all on weather and this fantastic finnish summer!

Hi,
My Black cream and Green poison auto's also got cold weather in the beginning.
The same temps you are having now.
It delayed the flowering time and they still got to a respectable size.
Black Cream= 95 cm
Green Poison= 74 cm
Both are in full flower mode now.
Above ground april 26, both in 11Ltr pots.
Do you have any leaf mutations in your black cream? Mine has, and the one I planted later also seems to have it...
Good luck with your grow :)

Thanks Jaypp.
I don't think that they had any mutation.
Those mutations are sometimes fun to raise, and ofcourse, sometimes they are headache ;)

I do believe that these will keep on growing, cold delayes also the flowering, thank god!

Did your Green Poisons show funny face with cold?

I'll go and take picture just now so that you can see the discoloring that happens ;)

Three small ones are Red Poisons, it's obvious that they don't like cold

Black Cream are the best ones, they don't mind cold

hmmm strange, I lost one black cream when it was 2°C, it was the smallest plant I had.
The green poison I have is a very sturdy plant and didn't mind the cold.
not sure what's going on with your plants other then they could be really temperature sensitive. The rest of the plants look fine.

Yes, it's a big difference. There is three of everyone of them and all three Red Poisons are yellowish. Other look normal green.
That's why I come to conclusion that it must be in genes. They are bit sensitive.

I'm not worry though. They say that weather is getting warmer and I expect that they will come around again. Start to push some chlorophyll to leaves.

It's okay, next time I know to treat them bit differently.I'll take out R Poisons bit later.
But you made me curious.I need to order some Green Poisons that I can compare those strains.

All other growers have nicer, bushier looking plants but I wanted to try these outside in Arctic Circles summer. Summer is what it is and this is all I got ;)

I could take them inside, but I don't want to.
I haven't done autos so much and this is an experiment for me too ;)
You hang in there in your comfy chairs with your popcorns, I believe they will perk up from here...

Hi Scai, I have 2 Green Poisons Auto Fem on my thread but it is indoor of course. My two GP are lovely and both are same pheno whereas my two Cream Caramel are different phenos. Lovely still the same. Check out my thread for the comparison in the CC and GP strains I'm growing.

These autos do make me interested...

Warm spell has set in and even the yellowish ones are perking up. Now it's too warm, not under +25 C any day soon...forecast says it's going to be..hot!
Black Cream is biggest one.About 80 cm now, so things are looking good.
All nine are alive and kicking off.
I will make an update sometimes soon ;)
