Hello all I am looking forward to all of your input and I would like to thank you all in advance. This will be my first time at the helm, finally running my own show. :dance013::woohoo:

Just finished putting the last bits and dialed in the 2'x4'x5' grow space.

Pics now words tomorrow, like many this is a strictly in the closet act... pun-TASIC. :smoke: and I work and live a different job by day type thing. My dogs are barking.

Loving this whole process. Watching them grow and caring for them has been so rewarding.

I will throw some pix up in my 2x4 grow album of their progress.

Can't wait to see what their genetics will reveal next. Hoping for some ladies.

i would hold off ferts with the seedlings and give them time to establish some roots. good luck with your grow.

Thank you Chunk, Iv been using them very diluted and even kept telling myself to hold off. However when I was germing them I gave them a splash of root juice then root juice and bio heaven and I was rewarded with three inch + long happy happy roots in no time.

Also I think I was a bit heavy handed with the perlite when I was potting them up. So I water alternating diluted feedings with just water, also when I do feed I kinda flush it by chasing with clear water.

your soil ought to be able to keep them going without ferts when they are tiny. I like to use root juices or worm casting teas. i've got a couple seedlings going but I need to up pot them soon. i prefer to keep them in smaller pots for the 1st month so I can let them dry out and then water well until you get runoff. I'm running some bag seed also but it's from cookiefam bags so I'm dying to flower asap.

Right on. I'll hold off on the other newts but I'll continue the root juice they are loving things right now. They are both pushing out their first four branches. I have really been impressed with their growth rates.

Too hot :/

Too hot :/

Eeeeeeeeek temps r spiking outside and things inside got close to triple digits.

Added a fan on the closet shelf above the tent for added exhausting of the general space. Hope it will be enough to stabilize the grow environment.

On a brighter, greener, side of things WA 1 and WA 2 don't seem to be any worse for the ware.

Quick update:
Still battling the heat had a controller knob get bumped so the exhaust shut off waaaaaaaaay to high a temp, and on a triple digit day to :/
Corrected the issue by bypassing the controller (unplugged and shelved it), then added a small metal fan to exhaust the hot air out of the closet so it doesn't get recirculated. Average temps for the day 75-77 f. Two thumbs happy over here now :))

Slight bummer seems WA 1 has suffered some ever so slight burning on some of the tips.

WA 2 however is still the shinning star, enjoying watching (fingers crossed) her grow.

Pix soonerish.

Final bits are finally in.

Final bits are finally in.

:tiphat:cheers all

Added some pics on this 2x4 grow in the album...

Got me a Boogie hose bib water filter...hoping this will hold me over till I can go RO.

Got me a shinny new black hydro tray to act as my large run off area. Instead of the sadly undersized saucers I had.

Thirdly, I got my final component of the biobizz line up I was missing just in time for feeding.

Cheers m8's :tiphat:

Seeing spots?!?

Seeing spots?!?

Ok so I I know WA1 has a few burnt tips from last weeks heat issues (which have been totally mitigated), but now I'm seeing spots on WA2...:fright:

I added a pic to the album, I'm worried this is pests not heat. I did an up close with a magnifying glass didn't see any obvious signs of pests....

Any thoughts? Should I worry? Iv been monitoring it for two days now and I haven't seen the spots propagating any further.

Both r trikeing up nicely...and i am already loving the smells that r developing.

they look pretty nice in that last pic. I wouldn't worry about those spots. plants are always having old vegetation dying off.

do you water to the point of runoff? now that they are decent sized it would be a good habit if you don't already.

good luck!
