the co2 unit will do a half p at a time, the quality looks nicer but the taste isn't there, but there is ways to tweak it using low pressure and then mixing it with the high pressure run and also the yield is abit less

im not a big fan of butane because in winter time its a pain in the ass to use

also, to complete your thought, i did leave my qwick extractions over night in ultra cold freezer (freezer boost function on those LG) and some unseen material that had passed double filtration did sediment tothe bottom and i stop pourring in my evap vessel just before the smuge...
ps: it did look totally clean in the mason jars right after extract and filter, the sediment appeared over night.

Grab yourself some 100 CC syringes and some PTFE, SEOH, PES, or PVDF syringe filters from Amazon... .45 or .22 micron. You are going to want to filter though before your extract gets too goopy, or after you redissolve in ETOH or another carrier.

sorry i didnt post earlier chimeras post filled in my gapper....

I use a milli pore and i took a picture of my unit/the filters i use.... This is what we use to separate the waxes from the ethanol{iso your case} and then do a thin film in the vacuum oven. You need a vacuum pump to use above system{a water aspirator may work too}. You can also filter for things like pm, But you can not filter out the crazey Aspergillus fumigatus.

I found depending on the unit most of the 2nd hand vac ovens were more expensive then a new across international unit. You can get a .9 for around 1500 shipped, there are also retailers in Canada and the price is similar.
