My second 600W HPS grow. All auto strains

Hi,

I just finished my first grow in this smaller tent (1,2x1,2x2m) with one 600W HPS lamp, (First Grow) and I just started another.

I upgraded the tent a bit. I put in Daystar 150mm air cooled reflector with one 220m3/h fan.
I have 16x 11l pots with Plagron GrowMix soil. All of them are connected to automatic watering system. For nutes I use only Plagron products. In this grow only Tera Bloom and Green Sensation because GrowMix soil includes all nutes for first two weeks. I have one 350m3/h intake fan and one 350m3/h outtake with carbon filter.

For Strains I went with:
10x Northern Lights Automatis from Royal Queen seeds
5x AK47 Automatic from Grassmatic
1x NYC Diesel Automatic from Advanced seeds

I germinated all seeds on wet paper towel in dark and hot room. All seeds were in soil the second day and were out in the air on day 3.

Day 2 update:

Everything is mostly fine. RH is a bit low at arround 40% so I should put some wet towels in the tent. Temp is 28C and plants are growing

Day 3:

temp is a bit hight at 30C but we have 30+C outside so I can't really do much about this except AC unit.

NYC is very very small..but it is growing so we'll see

Some updates:

I am watering plants every day now about 5 L PH 6,2 for 16 plants in 11 L pots and they grow nice. I have some temp issues..can't get it bellow 30 C (85 F)..it is on the high end of "normal" temps but I would still like to come down to 27/28. Lights are now 20/4.
AK is already stinking the place up..I have to buy bigger carbon filter because if it smells when she's 10 days old and is maybe 10 cm tall...what will it be when she's fully grown.

I've had great results, but the amount of time I spend feeding/watering is just ridiculous. How do you like the automatic watering? I am interested in going that route but I also like how I currently get to inspect every plant from head to toe every other day.

I had "classic" plants last round..16 Chronic plants witch come out nice..550g in about 65 days from some very nice clones. I vegged 3 days 24/0 3 days 18/6 and then 12/12 till the end.

yea...I don't know what I think of the automatic watering system...it is very practical and you don't really have any work..especially when they grow up when it gets crowded in the tent but like you said...if you water manually you see every plant each time and you can regulate how much water you will give her...with automatic all of them gets the same (in theory...) I had issues only with clogging...and if you don't pay enough attention plant doesn't get water a few days and you are screwed.
Also some pipes gets clogged a bit and they deliver less water then other pipe so you underwater one plant and overwater the other...I am thinking about buying "watering gun" (don't know proper name)...so you have a "stick" which can reach to the back of the tent and you just press the button and voila

What strain are you growing now? How long do you veg them? And what size of filter do you use...because now with this AK47s it smells like hell even with this small carbon filter..and they are not even 14 days old.

Right on, those were exactly the types of issues I was wondering about. I just love the way hand watering makes it up close and personal.

My grow is kinda like Frankenstein - a large green amalgamation of parts that don't seem to go together, but somehow manages to function. I'm running 2x Purple Dragon, 2x Shining Silver Haze, 3x Hindu Kush, 2x Hash Plant, and one each of: Blueberry Indica, Flo, Strawberry Cough, NAW, Wifi Emperor's Kush, Light of Jah, and Cotton Candy Kush. They're all clones from a local shop so I'm not even sure who the breeders are. I also have a feeling they all got a round of myclobutanil before I picked them up because I had absolutely no PM even with a crowded tent and ~60% RH.

Nice harvest on the Chronic! If I get a single unit I'll be happy, it can be difficult pulling in larger numbers with so many different strains. And you're right about the smell - I've yet to get mine completely under control for the past 4 yrs. I have a 4" carbon filter (on a 6" exhaust, not exactly optimal), and I get a couple ONA blocks for late flowering in addition to the carbon filter, but tbh the smell always pops up somewhere in the house. The ONAs do a great job for the money you spend though.

yea I hate it more and more every day :/ now I have a little forest in the tent and I can't see which plant got water and which didn't.

Day 20:
I started with 50ml per 10l of Plagron Bloom nutes. Plants are growing nice and strong. We had a little cool down so there was around 29C in the tent. RH is a bit low at about 40% but they doesn't seem to have problems.
One of the AK47 plants stoped growing a week ago and it is just sitting there..she lives but doesn't grow or evolve..it is strange. I thought if it is something wrong she would die by now but she is live..leaves are nice and strong...it's weird...i'll put pics up tomorrow.

Here is this "sick" plant which stopped growing but is still alive. Dunno what is wrong with her.

She has all the same conditions as the rest of plants.

Day 24:

Plants are really growing nice, all of them have lots of branches and looks very healthy. AK47 is a bit larger then NL. I water them almost every day with a bit more then 10L of PH 6.5 water and Plagron Bloom nutes.

I finally got bigger air filter because those AK47s were starting to smell like crazy. Now we live in smell free environment!
Overall plants are growing very nice..I started giving Plagrons Green Sensation last week and they went bananas...I can see buds growing every day..it is crazy. AK47s are a bit earlier then Northern Lights.
