those babies looking nice dry trim you'll much better taste and smell. when you cut plants they release protective enzymes creating that plant smell so atleast let the leaves get dry then trim if skeptical just try one branch and see the difference

Thank you tleaf for the insight on the trim. I probably will pick off the fans, then hang dry for a couple days then start trimming. will that work better to preserve the taste and smell?

it will preserve the taste and keep that grass smell down you can pick the yellow fans a couple of days before harvest leaving just the sugar leaves then hang and dry . trim when the buds are crispy to the touch , after the buds are trimmed ,bag them in paper bags to start them to sweat . the paper will absorb the moisture from the buds and shape them. after 2 to 3 days depending on your enviorment they'll be ready for the jars, leave the cap on during the day and off at night until your buds have the texture you desire

So After their dried and trimmed put them in a paper bag like a shopping bag for 2-3 days then to the jar. So when I cure them in the jar I should do a 12hrs on 12hr off cycles instead of just burping for like 30min 2x a day? I'm going to keep a small Hydrometer in the curing jar so I can regulate the exact humidity % to protect against molding. Should I adapt the jar top to the Humidity%?

Yeah My sativa is a really gorgeous female and her buds are really nice. But the only thing I didn't like was she didn't bush up like the indicas growing side shoots with buds. It could be because of her size and I know they grow tall instead of wide but..
