I went into the room of my SSSDH and I smelled something I have
Not smelled cense the late 80s early 90s.Rks yes that dead skunk smell
Are they suppose to smell like that. I have a can33 carbon filter but have not hooked it up . Can any one who has grown Rez sssdh chime
In and describe what your sssdh smelled like.

Well, consider that SSSDH is SSH x Sour Diesel...

And I can comment that the DeathStar clone, which is ECSD x '95 Sensi Star - has a distinctly dead skunk smell - much more so than I had smelt in years...

So, I'll go out on a limb and say that ECSD / Sour Diesel (Rez) has some latent expressions that do carry the RKS profile...

I've grown OJD's personal cut of SSSDH and it smells like lemon/lime fuel with a spicy haze end note...

ON a side note completely...

I know that $mike is working with some of the old building blocks of the ECSD, such as the DNL, Skunk Va, etc...

I think if there is any hope of everyone having an old school RKS - it will come out of the time and effort he has spent pursuing it.

Just something to be aware of and keep an eye out for.

Thanks frank its just that they are so young to be smelling that strong .i have not had a plant stink this early and it surprised me. I hope to get one with that lime haze smell. I use to grow
Kalimist all the time and I love the smell of haze.

I just got done running a pack of these a little while ago, got them from Rez when he gifted them out.
My keeper has a lemon/lime smell and great haze high.
Still running her and can take pics once things get interesting.
Most of the females had nasty gross smells, nothing id expect from a sour/ ssh cross.
I'm assuming, not sure what the parentals were.
The stinkier ones were kinda bland and a boring stone, but the hazy one s the bees knees!
I'm sure you'll find some fire in your run, I'll be watching from afar.

I am getting ready to place them under a ushio 600 watt mh for a month and to find out what I have male female. The I will take clones.then flower in a Scrog configure . I have been doing a littel every day to get the place ready .man when you stop growing for a bit it's hell
To get things up and running like it should be.man it's a lot a hard work in growing.

I really HATE the misconception that "stoners" are lazy...so therefore growing must be easy...

The heard to slow growth. They really need to be transplanted bad and put under the 600.
I left out a pack of mr.nice the doors 2 days ago by mistake from the freezer .now what do I do ?I put them in the fridge for now. I guess I will grow them out now soon as I start flowering the sssdh . And the doors are more haze then the sssdh I think.

Maybe cross the 2 for kicks.

Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze incross 1.

SSH x Sour Diesel (Reservoir Seeds)

OJD's selected cut which won the ICmag cup for best sativa 2 years back to back - '09 and '10....

The incross was made using OJD's cut as the mother and selected males...

That clear it up a bit HZep.

The OJD cut is PURE FIRE. I'd absolutely LOVE to have it back in my garden again. Never smoked anything else quite like it.

Good luck with the grow DRorganic! You really cant go wrong with the SSSDH..one of the best Haze Xs I have tried...if not the best.
Ojd"s cut..love that strong lemon smell with diesel undertones

extremely strong but not so hazy for my experience with OJD line of SSSDH.

My SSSDH (ojd) x neville haze (fn) was the strongest haze I have smoke to this day...loss of consciousness and memory during a certain time and I'm an old smoker

Everlast that bud in the picture is sssdh ? I hope mine is full of fox tailing loaded with silver crystals. I love the bud formation on both the ssh and sourD plants. What kinda yield can I expect from my SSSDHIX grown organic and under a 600 hps ?

Yup! Thats the ojd"s personal cut bro....the cut yields pretty well.Once dialed in....1+gr/w its easy. Last I grew it...I got 40gr pro plant under 400w HPS in 4L pots with soil with zero veg. Here is a pic for ya...I still hold it at mi casa and dont think to toss it in the next 20 years LOL

The clone from ojd's mother . I plan on putting the female plants in a Scrog. So I can maximize yield .they will be flowered' in 5 gallon buckets .if I get one female then I will put her in a 10 gallon bucket and veg for 3 more months then flowered.
