Heath Canada has filed its "Appellant's Factum" to the "Federal Court of Appeals"
Heath Canada has finally filed its "Appellant's Factum" to the Federal Court of Appeals of Canada, on June 10, 2014...This is the first step in the appeals process.
The "Appellant's Factum" is read and judged by the appeals court to see if there is enough new evidence or if mistakes were made in the original courts decision. If it is deemed there is sufficient of either(evidence or mistakes), another trail date to re-explore the existing previous legal decision is then granted.
In this case, the "Appellant's Factum" is in reference to the Federal Injunction granted Mar. 21, 2014, to the Allard case. Which allows persons/patients with a valid ATP on or after Mar. 21, 2014, to continue to grow and suppy there own Medical Marijuana, if they had a valid PPL or DPL, on or after Sept. 30, 2013.
Here's a link to the "Appellant's Factum", if you wish to read it in its entirety.
