Ey up guys nice little thread going here I think alot of the time we can get bogged down by the marketing but it keep it interesting to try new things

hey shhhh - ye basically shooting powder came first really powerful pk hit for week 6 & 7 then as its a powder pre dosed for 100L they brought out top shooter a liquid version I guess for growers who mix up in smaller buckets. The problem they had was due to its makeup it kept solidifying (like too much sugar at the bottom of a tea cup) in the bottles, they used to tell you to warm the bottle to get it out but people kept taking bottles back to the shops I know one kid who bought one bottle in 2 years and just kept returning it when it got to bottom of the bottle. what people didnt realize was the solid stuff at the bottom, that was the strength (the powder ie shooting powder) so it used to be a pk 9/20 now its a pk 20/9 and they say use twice as much.

yeh defiantly saw the strength behind triacontanol but I was following the mixing method that involves a microwave and not every place has a microwave on site so it was a bit of a twat going one place mixing up 2 litre bottles of tria RTU. and visiting everywhere spraying plants.

To everyone in the thread I can highly recommend giving ROCKS RESINATOR a go its a new one to the UK its big in US its bacteria based organo mineral PK, you change the ratios throughout the cycle and even flush with it quality seems really good im just about to run it on a hydro to see what it does for that. I would be interested to see what others think.

Anybody used Advanced nutrients Nirvana? Sounds like a good product, not ridiculously expensive as some of their stuff is.

Contains: Triacontanol, Chitin, Seaweed, L-Amino's and some other good stuff

Like the sound of the reactor that neutralizes and buffers water you just add it till water goes green 6-10ml per 100ltr

I'm organic, & use some rich soils. I like hydrolized fish solution, little dab of ewc's, & when bud begins, I use a little big bloom (fox farms), molasses & closer to harvest, I add epsom salts to the flush. You'll need more than this if you aren't mixing organic goodness into your potting mix. But yeah, everybody's right about the molasses. Epsom adds magnesium, which helps buds burn smoother & more even. Magnesium deficiency makes fire proof weed! I make sure to lower nitrogen drastically & increase phosphorus. Thats the main thing for flowering anything, not just pot. Name brands don't carry much weight with me.

the diution rate is poor for the 10 days minimum i would need 5 litres thats £275 they say use upto 21 days £550

then theres the the pk bulk would need 3ltrs al round it up to £150

i would also need 2 litres of elixer steroids £90

thats £800 sheets for me to do one grow

a think al just get some more aptus k-boost and p-boost £100 gets me 2 grows yields really well too

I'm debating giving advanced Big Bud, Overdrive and Nirvana a shot but can't find much feed back on Nirvana. Still thinking about it though as many seem to like bud xl and shooting powder, if I go with H&G I'll add TRIA as well. Nirvana already had the TRIA and other goodies though, looks very appealing

that seems mental mate - how much litreage of water do you get thru?
Pk Bulk starts at .5ml/l going up to max 2ml and the elixir steroids is 1ml/l

yes 5ml/l is quite a lot for the rocksoff but its only for 3 weeks - how many litres of water a week do you use?

3litres of pk bulk seems a lot for 1 grow?

if you're running 500 litres of water a week thru ya system - what systems do you run? thats enough for 5 one metre square nft's, yet I sure I seen your thread saying you run 2000 watts? do you run more than just that?

My head cant do the maths based on what you said cos I dont usually smoke in the day - but can you tell me what method of growing you do and how many litres of water you use per week cos either the maths is wrong or u run a shitload of hydro in which case you'd prob get plenty dough/bud back cf'd to what ya spent.

I do a reasonable grow and I sure as fuck dont spend 800 quid a pop

also its a bit pricey wherever you seen it

I've tried quite a few in the last couple years,
Liquid/powder koolbloomn combo gives awesome weight and resin, but I never liked the flavor.
Crystal burst n snowstorm ultra together works good, still not the best flavors tho,
Bcuzz bloom booster, I didn't care for,, left a black licorice flavor behind
Bud xl with topshooter gel, works great.. lots of resin, good density, etc
Big bud, overdrive n bud candy works great, also.. still get my most tasty herb with this combo..
Bloombastic works as advertised, but something about it bothers my asthma way more than anything I've ever used...
I would say my favorites are definitely bud xl / top shooter combo and the big bud/ overdrive combo.. house and garden grows the healthiest plant for me, but, alot of people think that the advanced buds are stronger.. Anyhow, hope I helped a lil.. peace

fog - evo also do 800g of budvenom - its an additive incorporating pk, aminos, hardeners, root boosts, cal mg and fuck knows what else, supposed to 'do everything'

not tried it but my mate raves about it- cost 60 quid for 800g and u use it like this:

wk3 flower 8g/100l
wk4 16g
wk6 24g
wk7 32g
wk8 40g

tho my mate says 40g bit strong and stick to 32g/100l

how much would that work out for you?

I like to keep nutes simple myself when growing in the loft its more important getting the growing conditions right usually it's too cold in winter and too hot in summer autumn allways yields best for me

Im starting out again next year gutting the lot sealing the room installing an opticlimate with dimlux lights and controllers with co2 with fully automated nutrient dosing system

I should then have 365 days of perfect growing conditions

The setup will cost around 5k but will be worth it after just one grow sounds like a good investment to me
