WILL YOU GO CRAZY IF YOU SMOKE UNPRESSED DRY SIFT RESIN?

I am wondering how many people that have traveled to traditional dry sift hashish producing countries have heard from the growers or hash makers or sellers that you should not smoke unpressed resin as it makes you crazy?
Please say yes or no if you heard it, and from who, growers or hash makers, or sellers, in which country.
When I say crazy I mean insane....

Probably lol.. I much prefer my sift loose to pressed.

When it's loose not only do I get to enjoy it melting together into little balls of oil.. but it does honestly taste better.

It's the reason i've been doing it this way since late '03 and I will not change.

Never liked smoking dry sift unpressed personally. I prefer to squish in my vice like kung fu grip and smoke a nice little ball of hash. I can't really see how there would be much a difference chemically though.

I have "heard" from hash makers and an array of growers, that smoking pure resin that was harvested early will cause panic attacks, hallucinations and yes insanity . Particularly high powered Sativas.

When i was in Jamaica in late 90's they had what they called blonde hash. It was really just dry sift. They kept it all for themselves and sold the hand made hash on the beaches cut with sap or tar depending on if it was a rasta or gangster. The dry sift was the best smoke on the island hands down. We even went out of Negril to some fields and my guide made hash strait off the plant(Alaskan) and it was great but not as good as the "blonde" hash they kept for there head. They never mentioned anything about going crazy from smoking dry sift, just that it was there best hash.

I voted for Morocco, sellers from there told me that for the first time.

But the older heads there says that even regular pressed hash will drive you crazy, in fact they smoke Kief, wich are seeds shells barely with resin if not at all.

I heard from afghan people that the best resin in afghanistan can make people shit their pants(go crazy) if they are not used to smoking.

If u see the yield difference the UN reported in the crops comparing marocco to afghanistan.
Afghanistan yields about 70% more resin than moroccoan plants per square meter of crop.

They also mention that all hashish sendt for export being cut because it is to strong in the "mr nice " documentary
This is probably a bs excuse to sell lower grade, but there might be some truth to it?

Quality control and testing is obligatory, logic dictates the general public's regurgitation of superstitious folklore. Eventually nomenclature will resemble law, in this case the advice of not smoking your own supply has been exaggerated and without being pejorative, the religious focus of the cultures attached to traditionally sieved material seems a prime candidate for promoting exceeedingly prudent advice rooted in this myth.

However, common sense does not support any grading system wherein first grade kief is sold as top quality without having physical proof and I don't just mean a bubble test for visual proof. I doubt a producer is not going to smoke the best kief he is investing in and selling as such without experiencing it first-hand. Not to inflate the misnomer of a corrupt industry , but I don't feel hash producers built enterprise on "trust" or sound policy. If a myth does root itself, it stands to prove a healthy selling tool for traders bluffing a buyer when hard-selling alleged first pass kief i.e., "If you smoke this, you will lose your mind."

Hey are the artisinal handmade hash's good? Like super melt status or more like a mix of 73 and others? If you put flame to it does it keep melting or does it cherry up? sorry if this question is inappropriate and doesn't belong here, PM me and i can edit it out.

I read somewhere that people in the middle east believe that smoking flowers makes men crazy, and that you should only smoke hash.

They probably say only smoke pressed hash so they can cut it with dung before they sell it.
