I have sent quite a bit around the UK in Smellproof bags with no problem , always put a fake Ebay seller name on back . Mail coming in from overseas is looked at a bit closer particularly if it`s from a KNOWN country .

A friend was caught after taking an ounce to a post office and posting it. Staff got suspicious of the smell (the baggy was actually wrapped in one of those scented bags for used nappies and that's what caused suspicion), phoned the cops. The PO staff recognised my mate as living nearby. Cops went around and kicked the door in because he was out.
Matey was arrested later. Interestingly, Cops never visited the intended recipient.

I've posted quarter ounces, flat, well sealed, via a post box with no problems.

So no, it's never 100% safe posting weed but yes, it's doable.

I'm pretty sure they don't. I think they are only brought in in cases of suspicious packages. I'll ask my colleague, he worked at a large city one a few years back.

No dogs in the normal post. Lots of thieves but 9 out of ten things sent 1st class make it the next day on the mainland.
For proper smell proofing, get some moisture barrier bags

Or you can buy this stuff by the metre at some growshops. You just seal it up with an iron or hair straighteners.
Every day millions of pounds in drugs of all sorts gets sent through the UK post.

harry ,,,have u got a link to the by the metre mylar ..need some asap the bags are to small ...

re dogs
it costs shitloads to train a sniffer dog ,,,they dont use them in domestic sorting offices ,,but they do at international incoming sorting offices ..

sniffer dogs at airports are usually explosive detectors and are trained just for explosives as to not confuse the dog .

I know progrow sell big bags that you can cut up to make smaller ones.
This guy has it and he is legit.

The UK international mail centre is at Coventry, that's the only place the dogs will be.

I have also had weed posted to me from Ireland several times , no problem there .

In fact I know one guy had some bud posted to him in London & the postman at the door told him that the package stunk so tell your buddy to get it sorted .

If people use the mylar bags, and make sure their hands are clean, and clean the outside of the bag, then even if there are dogs, they ain't smelling shit because it is non-permeable.

Ireland, stuff coming from the Republic goes through customs, but stuff from the North doesn't.

Hazy, here's a link to the biggest bag progrow do, but they have some smaller ones too.

Also, the ebay seller I linked Hubbleman to has different sizes, as well as the black ones.

I don't think they have dogs I think it's similar to an X-ray machine at an airport so it's done on the makeup of a product. I remember getting told a story by airport security how at chritmas they have nightmares as Christmas pud is similar consistency as C4....

They must do summat cos we got pulled up for posting a banned pesticide around the country. How else could they have known.

But I also know a guy who was big on Silk Road and he was posting like 10-20 packages a day through royal mail

They profile mail from certain places.
Also, certain items are banned from the mail. Bottles of liquid attract attention because things like acids, flamables like acetone/iso are not to sent through the mail. Have a look on ebay for buying ISO, the shipping will be more than the bottle, because they have to use a specialist courier for Haz-Mat.

I don't believe they would.Maybe if they pulled "the post" aside for whatever reasons then there's a possibility but still very doubtfull for "small" packages

Feel 9-5 lol :woohoo: :( Screw that! :D

If you are printing addy labels, then buy a black and white printer just for that. Colour printers all have the yellow dots*, which is basically a fingerprint for printers.

Vac sealing, hit and miss. The vac seal bags are permeable. We might not smell it, but dogs can, it just depends on layers and how long it is in the system. The foil bags are best, and no vac sealing crushing your weed needed.

*Link to info about the yellow dots.

EDIT

Dot matrix colour printers are OK too...if you can find one lol.
