Apache Kush: Thanks for the tip man..never heard of a bunch of stuff. I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and all the fox farm ferts


Wu Wei: Yea man the stretch stopped just in time I was worried those main budsites wouldn't get proper light but it's all good


I'm going to need advice from you guys on when to start flushing these. They are on day 42 of flower and my goal is to flush for two weeks. They are a little behind so I was thinking harvest day 60 at the earliest so flush around day 46 maybe?

Hey Green, very nice indeed bud! Yea The main buds are starting to fill out now and take form flushing depends really, how much nutrients do you think is within the soil still? A real nice flush should leave the fan leaves yellow, because that means there is no nutrients left in the soil and the plants have began to take nutrients from the fan leaves, then you will have some full flavour bud

I am probably going to flush my plants for 20 days maybe more.

Hey Apache, I am sure silicon/silica is used in hydro setups... There are plenty of nutrient based anti shock feeds out there guys.

I read this guys tips the other night, pretty useful info.Tips on the flush.
I agree if you used a lot of non organic salt based nutes buy the Sledgehammer from Fox Farms or the FloraKleen Salt clearing solution to remove fert residue, and purge the excess salts .... Yeah there is a lot of transplant shock recovery products, do some searching...


''FLUSHING.. people say.. don't need it.. others swear by it..
me i swear by it. ive done side by sides.. but what u want to do .. is flush while your waiting for ripening.. not while your buds are actually swelling.. so when u see the buds stop growing.. and its close to harvest.. and the trichomes are getting cloudy.. is when i start the flush.. so by the end of flush.. ur at peak potency.. your main fan leaves are starting to yellow out..
and there's less chlorophyll meaning it will smoke and taste much better then unflushed full of nutes buds.. o and also.. pull after dark period.. and before the lights turn on.. so on the day of harvest i allow the plants to go 24 hours in dark.. and at the 25th hour. i go chop them down and hang em.. this helps any sugars and starches and nutes to go from inside the plants.. down to the roots..
making smoother and tastier buds.. thats another thing that people say it doesn't need to happen. but after side by sides..
and blind testing by multiple groups of people.. its another thing i swear by.''

Day 46 here. I started the flush yesterday with the sledgehammer. I'm going to literally put these under my misting shower to rinse away any residue from the Flowers Kiss foliar spray I used.

This is the main heady bud I've been drooling over..I'm going to have a two part harvest this grow. I realize the importance and potential of training now. One well trained plant will make a nice.. even canopy in my tent next grow. For now I have to deal with the Little Shop of Horrors plants
