BlueDigiBerry F2

My bdbf2s are still in veg but I have run atleast a hlf dozen blueberry seed lines and almost all started off funky and sweetened in late flower. An exception for me was vitality that did the opposite. So far my bdbf2s smell good and strong just not yet sweet.

Secure collaboration! It's good to see all the BBerry hybrids making there way through, looks like you've got seeded F2s with plenty of space.

@Gil Tokerson: very neat crosses, perfect OG mother:biggrin:

It's mostly sweet blueberry muffins with some other floral notes, and a little bit of something rancid....But in a good way!
It's quite lovely. I have another pheno (#3), that is full on blue berry muffins all the way, but it's also very slow and has smaller buds. I have one going at the moment also, I just didn't post any pics because it's not nearly as nice too look at.

looks like a good pheno Gil. Great calyx to leaf ratio. those buds might still swell a bit too!

Nice one

My #3 is still the best smelling plant I've ever had. It just has much smaller and delicate buds. The #1 is almost a mutant in how vigorous and large it grows. In the full plant shot I posted, the plant off to the left is the #3.
Here's a couple of bud shots of the #3:

Sounds good.

I have wanted a blueberry muffin pheno for several years now. How many seeds did you pop to find your blueberry muffins?

I think I might have to grab a pack of these BDB F2s.

@bueno time
I started with 12 seeds. I kept the best 3 girls and one male. 2 of the 3 female have an unmistakable blueberry muffin smell, and the 3rd had a strong sweet floral perfume kind of smell. They all were worthy. Go back through this thread and you can see the process.

Here's a couple more shots of #1 with different lighting. One got a little closer to the light early on, so I snipped the tip off. Now it has a weird shape to it.

Hey Gil, do you have a shutter timer on your camera? Set it to ten seconds...push the shutter release and wait...

Set up on a tripod or a stack of books or whatever you can to muster to keep the camera 100% still...

You'll find yourself shooting 100-150 pics to get that ONE.... ;)

Good tip on the timer. I'm using my phone (galaxy s4) with a magnifier lens taped over the phone lens. Having to reach over and push the button sites make it harder to hold still. I think it even has the option to use voice commands.
I'm running vertical this time, so it's hard to find something to anchor myself on. And the buds are floppin all over the place as well. But these actually came out better than my first attempts.
When I chop them, I'll get some better shots. They're swelling nicely. Looking better than the first run.

Ah, phone came...right on...got ya. (make sure you are stripping that metadata)

Try the voice command. I know I can say "kimchi" and my phone will take a picture...hehehe.

I've got an app called pixel gaurd. I hope it works!
Girls starting to swell nicely. I love this pheno! I'm liking the vertical method also. I don't think I have any popcorn fluff. Everything gets light.

#3 pheno. Totally different expression

Tried to back up and get a full shot of the 2 together. #3 on the left, #1 on the right. I didn't finish building my screens until they were already flowering for a few weeks, so this is kind of a half ass vertical attempt. The next round I will fill the screen better before I flip.

looking fantastic Gil. great to see some variation in the phenos and a decent hit rate for worthy ones. also good to see the intersex traits receding as they get dialled in.

no male parts to be seen this round. And to be honest,I doubt they had any less stress than they did the first time.
Between the seeds I ran, and the current crosses I have going at the moment, there are 3 traits that I've seen exhibited in different combinations:
Size: Either ridiculously fast and large, or small and slow
Branches: Either very branchy and bushy, or very single cola dominant
Smell: they all have very sweet blueberry smells. They're all a little different, but all are something special

I'm glad I tried these, and I can't wait to see what my lemon skunk X bluedigiberry turn out like! They just got the flip, so I'll post some pics when they're is more to look at.
