That fruity Malawi Pheno sounds and looks perfect. How many weeks flowering for this one?.

Really surprised at how dense the Malawi is outside already, surviving 50mm of rain in a day. I think I have a thinner longer flower pheno, is this more related to killer Malawi?.

Hello and thx everyone.

The fast fruity one was done around 10 weeks with a nice yield too.
Strong up high,fruity smell and taste.Bud smells real good when dry.

Nice dense bud from this strain and not like other sativa.
Longer flowering may need more time to fill out,but the effects are worth it.

I be smoking Malawi over everything else.
High that lasts for more than 4 hrs.Very insightful sativa effects.

and fruity but poisonous aromas like you said..i never smell weed like
this again..i was telling about this plant in the first days of flower..
has no malawi look at all and the cookies she has,are hard and solid like rocks..any thoughts?

That leaf looks similar to the Malawi I have seen.
Some are bushy and others have fewer,but stronger branches.
If you top them many times you will have a shorter bush with many smaller buds.

that top pic looks like girl scout cookies. and it has a strong durban poison leaf structure... if u ask any real south african they will tell u malawi is the real durban and that the durban poison was just some hype... i would loooove to get my hands on that malawi cut u posted up top.

you're not wrong about "Durban" being hype, but the real Durban has it's roots in Lesotho genetics. same as the Ciskei.

I'm glad you are finding nice individuals between the different malawi phenos

The fruity pheno usually has fatter leaves and it flowers faster too. The aromas are a mix between peach and sweet citric (not so acid). The fruity fast flowering pheno is not the most powerful under my experience but very pleasant to smoke, and improves the line in terms of terpenes quality. I also keep mums of the fast flowering fruity malawis, they have been useful to improve aromas in the line and for other paralel breeding projects that are not so linked to the extreme killer malawi potency.

I can confirm that Malawi is very strong. Probably the strongest pure sativa available as dubi states on his website.
The smell is very earthy at first but then when you cut the buds the smell is so delicious. The earthy smell becomes so fruity and fresh. I can't describe it.
It definitely compares to the Zamaldelica Malawi-phenotype which is also killer. You can tell that they're related.
This Malawi somehow seems to be stronger though. I can't even smoke more than 10 puffs and I've been doing this for 15 years. I'm new to Malawi and ACE seeds though. You've got to love ACE seeds!

My strongest weeds so far are Malawi, Bangi Haze (purple and green phenotype), Zamaldelica (Malawi phenotype) and Tikal.
Okay I must admit I harvested it at the very end when all the hairs were orange. Now it's extremely devastating.
It is recommended to harvest a little bit earlier if you still want to do things.

Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback, a good malawi is indeed among the strongest pure landrace sativas you can find in seed form ... when we described our malawi as the strongest and more resinous sativa it was not a bluff or purely a commercial reclaim, it's our personal experience after many years experiencing different landrace sativa strains from all around the world.

I'm also glad you are finding good and powerful expressions in other ACE strains. Tikal, Zamaldelica, Bangi Haze, each on its different on its own, but they also have the potential to produce very strong sativas although not so strong like Malawi or Golden Tiger. Enjoy!

thanx zan your threads are awesome. you know what i had so many strains i wanted to grow and i have a small seed collection of about 20 different strains i need to grow but now its Malawi and Golden tiger on my list. i will grow these two forever just for the yield even if the high isnt as strong as described I hope it is though .......im so tired of harvesting shit weed that cant get me high. im done with wanting to try this flavor or that flavor or have this smell or that smell forget all that i want POWER! indica just doesnt do it for me i hate it. in fact i hate all strains I have grown to date they all lacked power. i remeber the days of satisfying highs back when i was a rookie. i hate having to smoke hours on end and not feel anything but the initial high for like 10 to 15 minutes and then nothing and sleepiness. i dont feel high i have to keep puffin untill im tired it sucks so forget all that weak shit. I trust you ace seeds dont let me down. also im quitting for a while...a few months i hope. I have not gone more than 5 weeks without smoking since like ten years ago. and those 5 weeks were a hospital stay so i was forced to quit. i have a bunch of seeds started and i cant wait till they finish becase I want to ride the Golden Malawi tiger killer train! i ran out just today and I dont want to ruin my tolerance level by going back to mexican brick in the end it just makes all weed suck beacuse i smoke so much of it its so cheap and readily available where i live it mostly sucks but trust me your tolerance can go through the roof from the volume smoked......you could probably throw a brick across the border in to my town. You could smell the mexicans waking and baking every morning from where i live (I am mexican american) Trust me when i tell you this i aint telling a lie why should i? anyway thanks for the thread zan.

forgot to mention ounces for forty of that mexican brick. you dont really see whole seeds anymore i would have to jump the border and score in mexico to have a better chance at viable seeds. But again i dont want to roll the dice i want some for sure winners. Malawi and Golden tiger you are mine all mine. i will use all males and females to make more seeds its how i do things.

Nice to have a seed collection and always looking for better.

This one from Ace has sweet woody smell,taste woody and strongest smoke I have.
Few hoots gives strong high lasting 4 hrs or more.
