Nuthin s truly 6wks but a few things can be taken early as noted... M39 lol straight beasters at 6wks Asian Canadian style.... Taken an extra 2 is decent... Surprised not one mention of the crack ... She prob one of the best of the faster ones..... Bogglegum is another good 7-8wker

Most flowering times posted by seed companies don't include transition period(can be 1 week or 4 weeks depending on the strain)...so a claim for a 6 week strain is actually at least a 7 week, probably more like an 8 week strain from the change of photoperiod...

I've yet to see any strain fully finish in less than 8 weeks, so I'm gonna call marketing BS on anyone claiming to have a 6 week strain. 8 weeks is now too long, seriously???? Grow it right until it's done and stop looking for quickie short-cuts, that's my suggestion.
damn straight 10-12 weeks are some nice plants too why bother finding the quickest? When you can find the best.

well said. any 6 week strand is bound to be mediocre just because they haven had time to produce resin and oils withing the plants flowers. there are alot of really good 8 week strains and even more, danker plants that run 10-12 weeks. i put quality in front of quantity or a fast turn around.

49 days, - skunk shot - U plant

Ive been working on this fast to flower thing since 2007 and showing some of my own results on another site,
Very hard to breed a true fast reliable strain in seed form, however it can be done, many folks find the bigger faster buds aren't as sticky or heavy as a 8 weeker and in many cases this is true with many breeders seed stock,

There are some whom put more work into this much like myself and a couple of others I no of, my most successful plant ive got in stable seed form now is a keeper clone amongst the true f/1 line taking a respectable - 49 days to finish with large very dense buds that are super resinous sticky also, very high yielding and made for commercial medicinal purposes with a long lasting strong highs with some of the 3 cbd-thc ratios, ive only grown out one true line of a 42-45 day variety that was what they said it was called - Mikado '

The f/2 clone I wrote of is in these pic's about 5 -6 days before harvested at 49 days, - in seed form she takes 56 days'
and the one seed plant photo, - the 3rd pic) is the early 6 weeker in the hybrid line, 5 half weeks is the quickest ive ever come across with my own plants and other breeders seeds dating back to the late 90's, my fast seed plant does better as a clone and smells yummy, yet not as resinous as all the rest to follow. - :ying: - bam

I was gifted a cut of sweet tooth. Not sure of the version but is about 10% amber trichs at 45 days. Because I do perpetual they go for 56 days in my room and are a little sleepy at that point. Best effect on this one is at about 49 days. I have a satori that is ready about the same time. I can't even run it anymore because at 56 days, you start yawning after the 2nd or 3rd toke. Mandala recommended 10 full weeks but with this pheno (bat pheno) 10 weeks will be sooo sleepy that you cannot finish the joint. Very good herb if chopped at 7 weeks but more than 8 and it's no longer useful for anything other than helping you get to sleep.

I would say Apollo 11 is ready in 7 weeks.

I haven't seen a 6 week-er myself.

There are some things a gardener can do to maximize flowering activity, reducing the time. A more mature, bigger seedling that is showing pistils in veg (24/24 or 18/6) will finish faster than a younger seedling.

Also, BOG has a reputation for quick flowering with Bubble gum that I think is legit. I think it relates to his experiment with the double-pot technique. One thing about the double-pot technique is that there is no transplant shock.

Any transplant shock = a stall. Could just be a day or 2.

I go from a 2 gal. to a 4 gal. about 2 weeks into flowering sometimes, I wonder if that is resulting in any kind of stall or flowering delay.

Since we're talking about harvesting early, it may be 100% premature but sometimes what you harvest at 4 or 5 weeks can be SOOOOOO welcome (especially if it's been dry for a while.)

In order to really talk about "finished at 6 weeks", of course ... we have to define what state of the plant constitutes finished.

I grew p.o.w33 from ch9female seeds. out of 5,3 of them finished at just under 7. the smoke was strong but did not yield great.

Most pictures of "finished" fast flowering strains always look raw as fug. White stigmas everywhere and the trichomes look clear as day. Sure you can get powerful bud in under 50 days, but it's not going to be done just because you CAN cut it early. Never had a strain that was finished in under 8 weeks, I'd never harvest that early though. Even most of my autoflowering strains have taken atleast 90 days.

it was done trust me,nearly no white proper couchlock stuff. I'm not a rep for ch9 by any means,I run different stuff every time. I'm just telling you what I experienced with that strain.

Hi sostonedagain, any chance you have pictures of this bat pheno satori? How many seeds did you have to find this particular pheno? Thanks :tiphat:

Sorry, I dont. Always too noided to even take pics, let alone post them on the net. I live in a very pot unfriendly state. I ordered 1 single pack..popped 6 seeds. 3 males that I sadly killed and 3 females. 1 was the bat pheno and had a very strong smell, definitely need some kind of filtration system and 2 of a much taller leafier pheno. We ran it for 12 weeks and it was still 90% clear trichs and had to be chopped. Buzz for it was way weaker than the one we kept. The keeper reeks of rotten fruit mixed with rotting meat. Not a great smell in flower but a very nice buzz at 7 weeks. Also has a terrific fruity taste after a good cure. I don't run her much anymore because she is sleepier than I care for at 8 weeks and has thrown nanners the last 2 times I did run her. I will probably give her 1 more shot then bye bye she goes. Not sure what changes have been made but we ordered the seeds from Nir^@#@ in 2006 or 2007.
