Great looking plant!
Can you let us know about finishing times and potency?
ATb for this season

Thanks guys :)

Paulo, I went into this grow pretty much blind. I did not know, and still have a hard time guessing, the finishing time. Sabe told me that when grown indoors under 24h light, they started flowering a couple weeks before mine. Try to figure that out :p I'm going to let them keep going until they start to die..I suppose another 4 weeks maybe?

I think giving them enough root space is important....if I would have known how big they were going to get I would have used a larger tub, but they still had plenty of space. There's about 15 gallons of compost in the tub, and the seeds were started directly in the soil, and I think that is also important to get them to grow big. I think that with more root space, better soil, and proper irrigation they could get potentially get 5-6 feet tall.

Like the finishing time, I'm not sure about potency. I don't expect it to be very strong, but we shall see. I think the true value of this strain is as a breeding tool, but I'm sure the buds will be pleasant :)

Eggy, those were my thoughts exactly! lol I was definitely skeptical going into this grow, but I am more than impressed with what turned out. I'll keep updated for sure :)

here's some pics of the males I'm using for this seedrun. 5 males x 9 females

Love the pics of the Thaipan 2.0

It has a similar structure to some of the Frisian dew's ive seen on here, i like it a lot  , i have a cross of the Thaipan and hope it does well for me this season ... i think i only have one left due to the deer eating most of them.

Thanks bro!

Good luck with your grow! What Thaipan hybrid do you have? Is it Thaipan x Pekuruder? Or thaipan crossed with a 'full-term' strain?

thanks!

Hmm..I'm familiar with thyphoon, and I don't think so Piel. There are many differences between it and thyphoon. Probably the most 'obvious' of which is calyx-to-leaf ratio. I would describe the Thaipan's as "Good", and the Thyphoon's as, "Horrible". Plus the leaf size and shape is very different. Also, male thyphoons can grow 2 meters tall. Thaipan male's will not get much more than knee-high outdoors.

Did you grow them outside LBH?

I heard a couple people mention hermies, but haven't seen any in any plants...and I've been looking.

How far into flowering did they herm on you?

Hi Angus

The Thaipan i have is the Thaipan x Pekuruder but i crossed it with Esben's Hashplant2 there should be good variation in the f1's so there might be a keeper in this batch and the HP2 is also early so it should be ok .... i replaced the TxPxHP2 that were eaten by the deer 3 weeks ago .. there's pics in my album's i'll try get one for you :)

i smoked the pregnant mother of Thaipan x Pekuruder it had a.. spicy flavor with hints of lemon really different from the others i was growing, the high was OK ,no heavy eyeballs at all ... its a up high ...good for daytime smoke imo .

out of 10 i would give it a 6-7..

yes i grow them outside en cross them too lbh's autoflowering Haze X ace thai haze and more i dith grow thise F1 crosses indoor and they show some hermie
(and i never had anny hermie before in my lines)i put it too the test and try some thaipan2.0 indoor and some of them Hermie ?
i think its outdoor strain only i realy like them how they look and grow.

they hermie in beginning of flowering balls under hairs up verry early in flowering too spot them

thanks for the info bro :)

what else did you cross it to?

I think you're right, that it is much more suited for outside. I heard of others with hermies..and they reported them during very early flowering as well. I kept a very close eye on them for the first couple weeks and saw no male flowers...so hopefully I'm safe :)

thanks for posting
