I don't know if I recommend it but for me using RO water I use 4 ml's per gallon and I've still had cal deficiencies the last two runs.

That.....Right there ......Thanks TC....I KNEW that bitch hadta be a cal/mag whore with all her family background , thus why I posted about PF`s attempts to dial his bitches needs juice wise as well as environmental....

When I put my original clone only Chem D`s in coco dtw w/1/2 r/o and 1/2 tap , I started out w/5 ml Botanicare`s Cal/Mag plus and immediately they developed variegated leaves as in the "TMV" virus look , and then interveinal chorosis mag def , plus the classic calcium brown rust spots , and I was like WTF.....

Kept uppin the doseage till I got to 11 mls per gal before all hints of def were showing , and then I knew what hadta be done from then on for production purposes and consistent returns per rotation....anyways.....

Diesels and Chem`s demand increased Cal/Mag ta be all they can be IME......at least from a DTW coco setup where X can be anything due to the medium`s inherent CEC requirements......

Hardta do shit like that in a water only setup though I`d imagine......

Hey Dansbro....I used GH 3 part with cheap coco/chunks/and big perlite @ and around 750 ppms consistently , so to up the cal/mag and maintain the ppms , I hadta drop the Grow/micro/and bloom to compensate....

Chem D was a BITCH to dial , but once I had her number she hooned and produced some of the best comparable old school dope I`d ever grown inside or out from yrs gone by.....

I had too many rooms to buy the Canna pre-washed/fluffed/charged shit , so I hadta adapt or perish with the cheap shit.....regardless....

Canna nutes are supposed ta compensate , so maybe you`re cool , dunno....

Not sure what TC`s regimen is , but I can tell yas Cal/Mag supplements in coco were always paramount in importance in my setups ftw....

it wouldn't be necessary to blindly up cal/mag with a balanced organic soil. Send 1 cup off to the lab, get an analysis of what's there 3 days later. Amend accordingly. .. or perhaps foliar...

If it's in the soil, a healthy microbial population working with the roots will make available what the plant needs. Not my speculation what the plant needs.

Maybe keep an open mind and try not to talk down about what you know little about. Trolls didn't force you to click the delete button. That was all dedhedfred.

I stayed out of your changeover to organics as the be all , end all wayta grow dope thread , and witnessed burnt tips on every plant you were growin due to overfeeds and keeping your so-called water only setup "organic" with the plants "knowing" what they needed and taking it accordingly as needed , and ........
