I found some things that might help those that are having issues with popping seeds. I know many use a small shot glass of water Method. I think many do it wrong though. Over the years of doing this I have found that if you let the seeds sink then left there for to long they will get to saturated. You might get some to pop but most wont.. Don't let the seeds sink, dont disturb them, leave them Floating on top of the water. If you mess with them they will sink. If they sink they wont be able to get any o2. They need to be removed from the water if they sink. then use paper towel or just plant them.

If the seeds are good and left to float you will see them pop there tails. This has helped me pop some of the oldest stubborn seeds I have. Within 24-36 hrs all the seeds will have tail's long enough to transplant just keep them on top of the water. I do use a seedling mat but that's not a must as long as there in a warm place it should be fine..

Hope that helps

So I picked up one on those remote hood lifts. This will defiantly help lower/raising the hood. I wont need to get on the ladder anymore.

I have 1 more thing that I need to fix. The E-P is an all in one unit I cant change the hood/reflector on this. I might get the remote ballast version so I can use a better hood. Like what I have on the Gavita. I put a Sun System Agrotech Magnum Double Ended Reflector on that one. It would be nice to have them all the same. It would help my yield for sure.

Wow I would love to pull a chair up for this thread.

Sounds like this might be the last run for the season - when do you usually shutdown for cleaning?

It has started, I dont take anymore cuts. what I have will be run out. my keepers will be left in veg. Probably 2 of ea strain. I do have some seed lots I want to try I will do those in the summer with none of my keepers in with them. I get tired of running new strains that pop naners it puts my other girls at risk. So will do seed lots in the summer just a few.

it's really small. I saw one in action today. It only moves up/dwn. It only takes up Height 2.8" x Width 19.5 x Length 12.8

Getting great shots all the time just doesn't happen for me. They all end up being the same quality:). I have 2 s1 in veg now. I made these myself. I want to see what they produce.

This run I did an open pollination with the GG#4 and the OG X Mango haze. I reversed a gg#4 but could not see any pollen so I just waited for it to be covered in naners and nuts. I then cut it let it dry took it in the flower room sat in front of the floor fan and crumbled the plant in front of it blowing what ever pollen he had into the plants. I can see seeds on some plants but not all. The OGM only has a few that I can see so far.

Before flower I do after I dont but will get some of the next one. Looks like a lollipoped plant bottom half is gone. This is one I put in before flower as she grows I take the bottom half off as well as tying her up. She will fool you on the size of buds that come from small branches. They all need support..

Here is one just before flower
