my first hydro...my diy aero/dwc/drip and diy led's!!

OK this is my first hydro set up so any constructive criticism is helpful.

30g tote-4, 2in netpotsw w neoprene- 1/2 in PVC- 3 ball valvs to regulate flow- 4 way drip- micro 360 sprinklers- 550gph pump- 60g air pump w/ 4 airstones-
I think that's it.
O ya
I have a 192w Apollo cob led
I invented a oscillating led/fan. 60w cree xlamp led on a heatsink attached to a fan. I plan on making more I have a led driveER that can run 5 x 60w we will see what I come up with.

20x35x63 grow tent. I'm going to scrog.

it is awesome!!! its kinda like having a light on a track i guess, and to me there is nothing wrong with light moving around. your tent is the same size as mines. how many plants you trying to put in there? i have two and they take up all the space in there, but i also let the turn into monsters. lmao. im only using cfls right now but am considering switching to led for my next run

Yea I was wondering how many I should have. If heard my aero set up will make the plants explode with growth. I only have 4 spots for them made but might start 4 and transplant 1or 2. I was going to scrog and lollypop. I am trying to figure what strain to work with....

I can let you know what parts I used it is extremely cheep compaired to buying LEDs I'm not sure the temp my LEDs put out but I have the led and driver burning in just for quality control haha. But the temp in the tent is 78f after 12 hrs in there with no exhaust running. Other than the fan.

they are actually 5gal buckets with my own diy insulation made from cardboard and aluminum foil. its also just a simple dwc with two air stones in each bucket with two 7.8lpm dual outlet air pumps. i also i have a mini tower fan setup on one of the lower vents to draw in cool air from my bedroom. and i have two 4" inline booster fans as my exhaust fans. homemade co2 generator. also my water temps are at about 68-72f if and when my water temps hit 72 i throw in some frozen water bottles to drop the temps, and my tent temp is any where from 70-74f during the day and 68 at night. water temp is very imortant to remember

Damn that's a lot of venting. . good info on the tank temps tho. I have only 1 inline fan that exhausts into the attic. it pulls in air naturally From the lower vents. Causing negative pressure inside the tent to assure smell leaks. Do you use a carbon filter? Smell issues? How often do you change water?

on one of my fans i have a homemade carbon filter on the other exhaust fan i am using ona fresh linen to make sure that if any smells get out the ona will mask it. the ona is very strong as it covers up the smell of cigs and food in my house within seconds of putting it out.. they both exhaust into my bedroom.. i change the res once a week but i have read that you can go two weeks in between res changes and just topping up whatever they need. water, nutes, etc. make sure your constantly check your ph levels as theyll like to fluctuate.

Cool. I'm thinking by taking off the drip system, shutting off the sprinklers valves I can just use the pump to drain water from above. Into 5 gal buckets. If its as easy as I'm thinking it will be quick ane effective for water changes.

Do you know if during water changes I can pump in let's say hose water and adjust in the tank? Or should the water be balanced before I pore it In? Will plants be resilient Enough to the time it takes to mix and whatnot. Or do you actually go out and buy water?

Also in a 30g tote how much water do u think I should fill it with. I know to cover the pump but my sprinklers are like 8in above the pump. Do I want lots of water?
