Toci - CBD rich variety

Toci is my first modest attempt at pollen chucking with CBD using the ACDC clone (20:1 CBD to THC). The clone was dusted with a Xena BX1 male that was selected from 3 males for the characteristics that most resembled of the original Xena clone. *I've also heard that ACDC is simply a renamed Cannatonic pheno but I received it as being Ruderlais x Cannatonic so that's what I listed it as.

I started off with 25 seeds to do a germination test of which 24 popped using the old-school paper towel technique but using a bleach-free coffee filter instead. From there I chose what visually appeared to be the 15 strongest sprouts. The selection was then whittled down further to the final count of 10 about 1 week after they hit the 1st major growth spurt.

Leaves of the 10 tester plants were sent into a lab about 4-5 weeks into veg to determine the Cannabinoid profiles. To my surprise all 10 plants tested with CBD:THC ratios between 2:1 and 1:1 with 2 of them registering detectable levels of CBG (11:9:1 & 10:6:1- CBD:THC;CBG)

Originally I thought I had 4 males but my aging eyes deceived me and I ended up with 9 out of the 10 plants I ended up with.

Toci#4 (2:1 CBD:THC). It's at 6 weeks here and started slowly turning purple around day37. She has the unmistakeably grape-like smell of a typical purple THC variety. This is also the biggest yielder of the bunch with more vigor than any CBD variety I've personally grown. If trained properly in a SCROG it will easily do 2 under a 1000 watt. (this is under a 600)

Toci#5 (1:1 CBD:THC). Number 5 is a week behind and a little under 5 weeks in this pic and is just barely smaller in size than #4 and can do just as well in yield if cared to. She smells almost exactly like Green Cush at this point in her grow.

Thanks. It's my 1st run so I haven't got to taste them yet but #4 smells like grapes and is turning purple. #5 smells like Green Cush & I haven't quite pinned down #11 yet. One day I think it's got the smell I associate with ACDC & Cannatonic then the next day I swear it smells exactly like Xena (i.e. Pineapple Cush). The two smells couldn't be further from each other too which is odd. #7 is in a weird place on the tray and it's hard to do a smell test without brushing up against something else.

Man!!!! They look so nice!!! I'm on a high cbd quest for my dad. I have a cannatonic mother, actually just finished a small clone of it. Yesterday I started 6 cbd seeds from barney's farm. 3 Blue Shark, and 3 Critical Cure. So if all goes as planned I will have 7 plants with a chance of elevated cbd levels. I can't wait and see how they smoke.

I used a combination of fan leaves and topped shoots; 1 gram dried. I will be testing all the finished phenos and 1 or 2 of them I'm going to take an additional flower sample 5 days before harvest to get a better idea of when peak values occur for the next run.

First I've heard that AC/DC is a renamed Cannatonic phenotype, but from the similarities in ratio it's completely believable.

I've also heard it said that 'Charlotte's Web' is just AC/DC renamed...

I've been curious to know if Charlotte's Web is ACDC as well as they have near identical cannabinoid analysis. In Gupta's WEED documentary the Stanley bros say they bred Charlotte's Web. I'd love for someone to prove/disprove that.
Is the Charlotte's Web cut available or is it only in product form at shops? AC/DC & CW side by side, anyone?!?!

Thanks, yeah dried samples. Most places offer breaks in test pricing if you purchase in groups of 10, 20, 50, etc... usually with a 30 day window so you don't have to get them all done at once.

#4 comes down today at 58 days and I'm also taking an early sample off #5 (53days) to get tested. It will also be harvested at 58 and tested again.

That's awesome, I hope you find magic and am very interested in how the crosses turn out for you. I did the same thing with a choice male a friend found in a pack of Sohum's Canna-tsu and crossed it with AC/DC, Cannatonic, Harlequin, Harle-tsu and back to another Canna-Tsu.

Did you pop their Pineapple-Tsu? Those sound particularly appealing.

No bummed they were sold out of the pineapple tsu. Picked them up from tlmd in la. I got the canna, swiss and harle tsu crosses. Hoping to pick up that one and the valentine up at the sf cup if possible. My friend has the harle tsu going as well and they have a beautiful blue ish tinge to them. Crossing fingers.
