Just wondering if you had grown it before and liked or disliked it for whatever reasons

Well... I grown one that I was told was Jupiter OG, but it wasnt. Got it from a local spot here in California that doesnt nothing but clones. The finished product literally smelled like beef jerkey and throw up. So if you ate a huge bag of beef jerkey, then threw it up into a bucket..... thats exactly how it smelt. Exactly.

Jupiter OG is considered on of the planetary cuts. There's Mars OG, Earth OG, Jupiter OG and so on..... All they are, are elite cuts of OG's, renamed out here in California. Ive even heard that the Jupiter OG is suppose to be the original Tahoe OG. Of it might be the Mars. I cant remember for sure..... Just yeah.... If you get them from good sources, then you might find some serious fire.

As for careing for them..... Im an OG grower... its just about all I grow, except for my personal smoke..... but OG's are picky. They like the be fed just right.... not too strong, not too light. Gotta get the PPM just perfect. Then if your temps are too high, your gonna get some super crazy stretch. Hotter your room is during stretch, then more they will stretch.

OG's are usually very viney plants. Super think braches, so setting up screens is a must. I usually set up 3 screens. One bottom, very tights screen that has 3"x3" holes in it. Then about a foot higher then that, I add regular trellis netting. Then maybe another foot above that, I add more trellis netting. The last thing you want is for your buds to start falling over away from the light, and stacking up on top of each other, like a big dog pile of buds. Then the buds at the bottom never get that light... So growing OG's... trellising is a must.

Just read thru the thread, you have a nice collection of strains brutha .....I have the Sour Grapes cut too, that's exactly how I'd describe it, I'm keeping her around though my homie & I have some plans for her like hitting her with pollen from a Chem #4 x Aliendawg f3 then a Bubba'91 x White'91, I have some of my own seeds that I've bred and collected that I believe will beef up that potency too!

Have you ever grown the Ghost OG cut? I have one two weeks in bloom ...all organics though ....My Wifi mom is Fire leaning and reeks of pine cleaner and fuel, took me a coule grows to get her down packed! Anyway I've ranted enough lol Let's see some more pics ....seems like you're around the right circle bro, I'd kill for some of that gear!

Elite, you have some very awesome stuff going!!! I just ran into your journals, and am happy I did. I'll tag along and see your success, and dream of having great mother plants like the one you have. I'm in the process of finding a great Sour Bubble mom, and a sativa like Jack the Ripper or Green Ribbon. I've never grown either of them, but have had some great buds from the shop of both. I can't seem to find a cut of the ribbon from a good source yet, but I'm looking. A buddy of mine said to head out to Santa Rosa, he thinks he knows a reputable spot for a cut. Not far from home, so hopefully I'll have something soon.

Right now Im working with mainly all OG's and Girl Scout Cookies. Im getting ready to cross some stuff up with a Gods Gift, GSC and some OG's. Waiting on a buddy to get me Blackberry Kush, which is super tasty and frosty as hell. Cant wait to get started.

I've never grown the Ghost cut. Heard about it a lot, but never had it. I wonder if that cut would be better then my other OG's. I have Jew OG, Platinum OG, Herijuana OG, IE OG, True OG, SFV OG, Larry OG and Fire OG. I havent found many OG's better then the cuts I just listed. Im always open to try a new OG though.

Yup... use to grow in coco... but rockwool is soo much cleaner, easier, fast transplanting and fast cleanup to get the next grow rollin. 6" Hugo cubes and a 1" coco mat. Good enough to grow some monster plants, if I need to.

Just basic feeding. Nothing special. Drain to waste, GH 3 part, MagiCal, ProTekt Silica, GH FloraNectar, GH Floralicious Plus, KoolBloom, Dry KoolBloom, PS SeaGreen, PS Rootamentry, Superthrive, GM BioCozyme and Great White. I'll usually throw in a pinch of paclobutrazol around week 2 or 3 to help tame my OG's some.

I hit em pretty hard with as high ppm as they'll take. Fry the tips a tiny bit, then back off a tad. I have to say... my yields rarely disappoint me.

LoL. I was stuck on this strain called Short Bus. My buddy got it and tossed it. Potent as hell, but retarded plant with super crappy yields.

But yeah.... Still only messing with 23% and above. Im always going for potency.. but trying to add in some flavor as well.

I just linked up with a local SoCal breeder thats not online.... We're about to put some craziness together. Definitely got some goods that will hold their ground with the best....

I know that Gorilla Glue #4 is popular here.... I grabbed that cut and about to cross it up with some of our other goodies. I'll post em here once the seeds are dry and ready to go into the ground.
