Vipar 300w?

I mean multi-spectrum chips are not designed for growing mj.

IF one has sufficient WHITE light (I do) then adding some multis is ok, BUT, WHITE should be the dominant light source, ad WHITE is really all mj needs

Anyway, each color diode has a different life expectancy, and it is much much shorter than the BS sales hype. So investing in them is tossing money out the window

Look for High Bay LED lights in daylight and WW (harder to find) but mix them and our golden

What do you mean?

Considering that I have an extensive background in light spectrums, and I was able to pick my own, and that the leds are OSRAM- no

Bars will be here tomorrow

Drop by my grow thread to see whether I put my foot in my mouth

Ummmm shouldnt you wait before you actually get the rails before saying how good they are?

How do you calculate the % of green in a neutral white LED emitter?

Not easily.

No two NWs are the same, exactly, hence binning. Neither are different manufacturers NW the same

NW can be awesome for veg- bud set, but then ~ 30% more red is desirable for max yield

Basically what I look for is a light/panel that has ~ 30% 400-470 + ~ 40% 500-590 + 30% 600+

This should be good for a wide variety of phenos

Here's a light I plan to use for veg and flower.
I selected the spectrums

But what is your method for calculating the percentages? With an extensive background in light spectrum (whatever that is) you must have a mathematical method to get to those percentages.

Sorry I have not made it clear for you.

MJ has unique light spectrum requirements during veg and flower

Simply match spectrums and grow stages

Perhaps you just need to reread (I used to do that a lot!) while comparing to NW/WW spectral graphs

I use the vipar led 300w panel and it's a good light especially for supplemental. I actually ran my led panel alongside my 1k in a 4x4 tent and plants that were under it did good. It's great for adding more spectrum to your tent over just a plain hps but it will only cover 1 side really because of the brightness of the 1k.

I was actually impressed with the Quality of the vipar LEDs that I have bought some more panels from them. So now I have the 300 and 360 watt switchable panels. Next I am gonna get there newest 5w led panels that they offer.

You won't be upset with your purchase wether u use it for veg or supplemental light for flowering the vipars work a lot better than your standard Chinese panels I know because I have tried the Chinese as well.

Hey cone I have that same vipar panel but the 300w panel. I like how the panels are switchable and it's a awesome veg light. My plants do very good under the vipar lighting. I also have the green Chinese panel that looks like my vipar that is also switchable but the vipar outshines the Chinese Green panel.

They are brilliant pieces of kit i used 2 x 180w for my last crop just for supplementary lighting & they do the job well!
I can't say i've heard of Chinese Green panels how do they perform?

Check my grow out i'm using 2 x 600w & the 1000w vipar unit. The 2 plants under the led are absolutely fantastic!

Have you got any pics of yours under the led?
