Ok Chaps bout time i had a permanent thread going

al start it off with a pic of the Casey Jones truecannabliss @22 days 12/12

ive been toying with the idea of full automation not because im lazy but its getting really hard now to give them the time they deserve so the plan is to fully automate the watering side of growing that includes mixing nutes etc that will give me what little time i have to maintain everything else pruning checking there health etc

i will explain abit more when the stuff arrives but it should be straight forward


anyways heres the cj this one looks like its going to be a new pb for yield too

@Hgo yeah mate monocropping I will be putting in a single chiesel next as I haven't grown that one big yet so interested to see how it does before it gets the boot as I know it's not that good in a sog type grow but cheesey smashed it grown like a bush

got a pack of Grateful Casey beans in the fridge but held back on popping them cos i heard they're lanky bastards and i dont have much headroom. how tall are these girls from medium to tips if ya dont mind?

thanks harry al get the tape out next time im up but a good guess would be around 4ft

you should be ok but if you do pop them grow each pheno from a clone instead of flowering the seed plant out top early and crush the stems abit if they get out of hand


just got some H&G top shooter to try out this time looks like the new bottle though as its not like a gel its an orange colour too so i poured some in a glass and left it to stand but i havent seen any seperation at all yet

not really GG good insulation two 6inch outs and 1 6inch in, the hoods are the best aircooled ones on the market last time i looked, temps are maxing out at 27 at the mo

ill be watching this one ,,those cj's are gonna throw out some monster ass colas

hey fog you say the best air cooled lights on the market,
do you think it would be an improvement to the light overlap, if the outlet's were put on the side's of the lights ,as opposed to the ends ? or do you think it works out better to throw the light sideways out and have no overlap between the lights ?
i may have gone the long way round with my question,but simply,i am very stoned !

i fully recommend it that was two grows ago the one before this i didnt use it and buds didnt get nowhere near that

i think i get what your saying here so i drew what i thought you meant

if i had the hieght i would go with this but to get max hieght the current way is best for me in my situation

Nice drawing FOG mate but I think WW meant if the spigots themselves where welded to the side casings rather than the end like some of the vertical bulb aircooled hoods have, but to be honest they are great the way they are as it sucks the air along the full length of the bulbs using aerodynamic bulb holders rather than sucking air from the sides of the bulbs. Are they the blockbusters your using or the Magnum XXXL mate as hard to see in the pics.

putting the spigots there would lower the efficiency no doubt just like you say its a really good design which eliminates the major hot spots

im using both mate to see how each one does thought they should go head to head the one closest in the pic is the xxxl it gives me an extra inch in hieght lol also the light spread is better the blockbuster isnt as streamlined as the xxxl so you get a small hotspot under the lamp the light isnt as spread out as the xxxl and thats the one thats produced the biggest buds so far so i cant make my mind up yet which one is best
