Nutrients for plants producing seeds

If its heavily deliberately seeded then I continue to feed with flower nutes well beyond when you would stop or reduce if growing for bud , the plant has a lot more to do given the weight of starch and oils in an ounce of seed , stopping feed around a month after pollination.

If its a smaller number or a few lower branches then I treat as normal.

An analysis of the compounds in seed might indicate specific ratios or micronutrients that would benefit , around 50% are prime quality after sorting and pinching for storage , those less mature mostly pop straight away.

If you are really in a hurry to see the fruits of your labour , soft immature seed pulled out at P+14 has around 50% viability if given care , with no loss of vigour after a slower start.

Germination report

Germination report

This is what it looks like

I took seeds from two plants,
A 95 pcs
B 126 pcs
and used the paper towel method for germinating them.
Out of the total 221 seeds, 60 germinated after three days. Another 26 the next day.
Today, another 4 days later, only two more germinated, so I wont bother with those two and chuck them and the ones that didn't germinate at all.
My target was 100 plants, 86 is close enough so I'm good. The thing I noticed, and my main reason for posting this, is that ONLY the good looking (dark) seeds germinated. Almost all of them did good, and NONE of the lighter or smaller seeds did anything. Perhaps they need even more time, but I dont see anything happening. Maybe I'll throw them in a pot to see what happens.
So far, 40% germination.

This is what they look like, so cute...

In my experience with the same plant seeded and unseeded , the potency is lower and the flavours are muted , less euphoric but still has a body stone and pain killing effect but would not be my first choice.

I usually dry sift it , but it makes a good backup if the good stuff is intermittent in supply and likely to run out between crops.

I am not sure of this, I know everyone likes a different buzz,but....
I have actually found that seeded herb has had a nice comfortable buzz with more uplifting effects. I mean i love seedless for ease of smoking, but the seeded stuff is really nice smoke as well(just get 100% of seeds out!). Some day I will do a proper side by side of sensi vs seeded. So far I can't say definitively, because it could happen that the seeded herb I have smoked was just great herb to start and I now associate seeded herb with that.

Well, I'll be sure to save some seeded bud, without the seeds that is, till I have some sensi from the same strain. Memory can be fuzzy, so better have a quick comparison going. Still, there will be a big difference in curing time, that will have its effect as well I suppose.
