After being a combuster for years, i prefer the extreme Q vape now...
I still smoke but I vape (volcano) a lot more than I smoke. I had a bad experience with edibles and the green taste but I found some that lack the green taste been off those.
vape pens suck bad imho, i tried a few, they are all junk...

micro vaped ... if you want it for puffing oil ... micro vaped is best ive seen ... titanium skillet no tanks or other stuph to get in the way ... had mine a while now .. use it daily at work .. going strong. The wife and I have both been testing ours hard for a bit now

Volcano remains a Must ... and impressive strength.
In Amsterdam coffee shops use Volcano successfully for a long time.... expensive but high quality ... many possibilities.
After the Silver Surfer is very good material. Big spray can .... thick, nice. Perfect !
Many small vaporizer are CHEAP and do not give environmental consume. The people buy a cheap Vaporizer, VAP small, small print negative and criticizing VAPORIZER ! Infortunately. But for 1 great Vaporization 1 very good Vaporizer is the MINIMUM... and even more for a MED USE !
(honestly after 25 years of smoking ganja burning it is very difficult to pass Vaporizer! but the gain on health is huge compared to the burn ganja!)
it is important to invest in a good quality Vaporizer ...

all bud taste the exact same to me in vape. then when i try to smoke/use fires for taste....ewwww is all i can do. worst it takes me weeks to get the taste back.... bubble in a C-rig now; that's Ggggrrrrrreat!

Are the portible models decent for smoking or do you really need something like the volcano or silver surfer? Alot of people say that the experience is totally different from pipes, bongs, etc. Are they just referring to the lack of smoke inhaled?
I only vape when at home. Been doing so for around 10 years.
When I go to Amsterdam I bring my own volcano chamber
and bags. Not only is it more sanitary, but it also frees up
the coffee shops' chambers/bags for others to use...

I had to try the VaporBlunt 2.0.. oil, wax, herb.. fuggin glass attachment ($150, didnt get it) makes it about 1.5 ft long.. it looks and is supposed to act like a bong for the vapors. I want "in my pocket" reliability, this looks like it.. for now. thought about PAX but their reviews seem to be 'marketing' rather than real.
Funny, this was from a bout a year ago.^^^.. I was right! and gave away a pax (sux), the vapor blunt may be useful for burning oil.. that's all. the solo is just like the old vapolution but in a different package.. those glass straws break, weed goes into the glass straw.. I don't like it, gave it away too... so far, the VapirNO2 (is ugly as hell) with an inverter from radio shack (??? $25 sumpin like that) it works with any 'power source' on any vehicle.. car, motorcycle, snowmobile, eetc.. not the biggest 'bowl', not those blow your mind hits.. but it gets the job done.. works OK on battery but slow..SSV at home only...

I started vaping again about 25 days ago using a cheap China vape box and whip. My lungs and consequently my overall health are demanding I quit combustion.
I received my Extreme Q about two weeks ago and I am very glad I purchased it.
I am absolutely giddy about the remote. When the package arrived and was opened my sweet wife was flabbergasted and amazed it had a remote.
I thought I would never need a dope remote but I was wrong.
There was a learning curve to vaping. I totally love it.
Still working on the best fastest method for me. I prefer the whip as you can get some thick hits with the whip and elbow pack.
The bag takes a few minutes to fill up all the way for me but that is with an elbow pack not the cyclone bowl.
The stone is much clearer.
I also like the ability to customize the stone by using temperature setting.
I typically use 200-220C depending.
Works well for me.

Most people will find Vaporizers easier on their lungs and many find it tastes better, if that is what is more imortant to you, maybe that is the answer.
To those of you, that find Vaporizers unsatisfying, the problem may be that while upto a gram of Cannabis can be smoked in bong bowl in one hit, the exact same amount in a vaporizor fills several balloon's that each take several breaths to inhale, so you do not get the same effects. If you prefer getting high to being high it is disappointing.
Some people think that one gram smoked in several breaths is the same as a gram smoked in one breath, but it is not.
I think everyone should consume the way they like best, be it vaporizers with a small amount of herbal Cannabis, or Afghani Hubble Bubble water pipe filled with an ounce of dry sift resin.
I prefer the later, but that is because I like getting high, and dry sift resin when smoked on a very fine stainless screen is almost like vaporizing, first it melts and bubbles, for a while then at the very very end it combusts and leaves a fine white ash, so most is vaporized, then at the end is combusted.
I find the worse for my lungs is large amounts of herbal Cannabis combusted, I stopped that 20 years ago, I used to spit up black every morning, I have not done that for 20 years.

Sam you use pipe for the fine sift? And no more of the coughing etc from bongs? Might have to make the change myself. Just never liked the hits from a vape . I think it's a different high with bong than vape and also a joint can hit you differently as well. peace sdd
Volcano bags get sticky too.
What I do is pull on the top/end of the bag as it's starting to fill.
This unsticks the sides, and lets the incoming air further pry/leverage the stuck parts apart.
I've been using a vaporizer for a couple years now almost daily, and it is easier on the lungs. I can run several miles daily no problem. I have a Airizer Air. It gets a little hot sometimes on the throat, so I use it on the lowest setting. However, if I really want to get BAKED, I will smoke a joint!!! But it has been almost 1 year since I've smoked a joint!!
Here it is 2 years later.. SSV still runnin 24/7. no portable can do it like an SSV (if youre poorer) or the volcano. I haven't gotten to the end of the last written post but my position is still the same, PAX SUX.
