looking nice in their hush...do they ever start getting too humid in the tent with no ocilating fan in there ?

No, actually, the 4" centrifugal fan does the job. This tent is small at only 20 cubic feet, and the fan is 175 cfm, so it's clearing the air like 8 times per minute or so (theoretically).

I bet that fan keeps it cool like a lab in the tent moving that air that fast ,plants seem to love it though are you getting neg. pressure where the sides of the tent suck in ?

Yeah the neg pressure is pretty bad when I try to use ducting for my intakes. So instead I just keep the window flap things open. There's just enough neg pressure this way. And since this tent is in a bedroom closet, I don't worry about light leaks because the closet stays dark all the time.

The plants do love it, which is the only reason I don't have the speed controller hooked up. If things are working fine at full speed, I don't see the need to throttle it back. Noise isn't really an issue either. My house stays a little warm at 75-76f because my wife gets cold easily, so I like making sure the garden has as much fresh air as possible.

No not at all, the hottest it gets in there, right directly under the cool tube, is 82. And that's because my wife gets cold so she raises the house thermostat up to 77, until I discover that's what she did and return it to 75. It generally stays exactly 5 degrees warmer in the tent than the current ambient house temp.

cant be to ancient of a house with a minimal season temp jump like that your insulation must be great.

Haha, actually it is sort of ancient. It was built in the 50s. But that was a mis type. Meant to say ambient. But it does actually have excellent insulation. Things were built well back then. Plus it helps that this house had a new, powerful central air unit installed about 10 years ago, before I moved in. Also, almost the entire property is covered by old trees. I like it here. :)

No these are oaks. They bring nasty caterpillars though that drop from the trees and onto our clothing and stuff. Otherwise, they bring lots of birds and I always hear birds singing. In in a densely populated area, too, in the city.

I once lived in a house with a pin three right in front above the aluminum canopy for the porch and squirrels and birds would jump from the tree the canopy very annoying ..especially to a paranoid grower lol

Hush have you heard of a single part powdered nute called veg+bloom by hydroponic research? It's suppose to be real good...

No, honestly I've never heard of that one. I don't even think my local store carries it. But if I ever try something else, next will be Jack's Classic. I hear good things...

So, here we are on day 27. I staked up the branches and pruned off the bottom growth. I also went ahead and switched out the bulb to HPS.

Yeah I honestly don't know how long it will go... I'm guessing 11 weeks, minimum. So yeah, maybe as long as 90 days. I don't think I would let it go much past that.

Looks great, can't wait to see them in full bloom :) 400w in a 2x2 should produce some massive flowers!
