blue dream is one of the first strains that i picked up when i started growing 8 years ago. its the original cut, and puts out fire everytime. i just got back from the la cup and picked up some new seeds. i got a pack of rare dankness 501st og, and i picked up a pack of sour bubble, sour grape, and sour strawberry from bog. pictures tomorrow im tired tonight, thanks digdug!!

i think i put the seedlings in too hot of a soil mix. i was excited to get these started and forgot to add coco to my mix!! (idiot)!! i cut my rols with 50% coco for new cuts and seedlings. but forgot to cut it more for these very sativa dom seedlings. they are still alive and only the strongest survive here. some are coming out of the seedling stage nicely and others are slower, but still progressing. i have over a dozen of these seedlings going and ive got some friends running these too this year. ive started some of the bog's gear, some sour bubble and some sour strawberry kush. ive also started some of the rare dankness gear, some 501'st og, and some ft. collins cough/trainwreck haze! i have a 16' x 16' outdoor area this year and plan on filling it. thanks digdug!!

OOk so it wasnt the soil mix, at least not the total problem with the dream cush seedlings, I also had a small ra infestation. I have transplanted them into gallon bags and put them outside. They have started to bounce back and are looking good. Instead of culling my males ive decided to take them all to my brothers house so I can observe them more freely. I can collect pollen from the ones that catch my eye for some reason or another. I have two males right now that im keeping. I have the fire og bx male from og raskal and the leeroy male from rare dankness. I cant wait to get my rooms dialed in and running, its so much work but its worth it. All my BOG gear is doing great. I gotta go tend garden, digdug!!

I started some of the rare dankness 501'st og and one came out with three cotyledon leaves. I love watching mutants. And hopefully it a recessive trait and will have lots of the momma in it. All the mutants I have seen seem to carry a lot of the mothers traits, but I could be wrong. We shall see how this comes out, thanks digdug!!

Gotta fuckn move again!! I hate people who lie!! If I cant find a place for my container I may have to sell it. We have til the end of june. We will find the right place for us im sure. Im not letting this get me down. It just pushes us to buy something sooner. Im putting my keepers into tissue cultures. And down sizing my list, everything happens for a reason. Digdug!!

Wow first post@weedersmokez I will still be going forward with all my projects they just get put further down the priority list. All is good as long as family is together. Besides we have 90 days of vegging to do to build an army for our next place. My attention has been at work and the mites have shown up again.they are almost gone. Im doing tissue culture on all my keepers just for back up!! We are looking to buy some land in santa maria, lompoc area. Close to pismo beach where I can tear up the dunes. To much fun!! I have a lot of planning, I found a place to store my container but no plants inside. Theres no power there ,and its my last resort if I cant find a rental that can accept it. Its really fn' big. I am still going to hempcon 2014, and I will have my beans with me for gifts or trade. My leeroys are doing very well, im letting them get a little bigger then I will clone them and put them in my small 250w box that killed the banana og. Im definetly gonna build another one of those cause it worked great. Thanks to all that have been following my adventures. Its gonna be one hell of an adventure for sure!! so previous pollen chuckin as treated me very well. i have the original bluedream cut and have had it for many years. its one of my favorites. ive done some crosses with the bd and im still finding all kinds of goods in my older crosses. it all started out with an indoor grow of bluedream and a godbud x dreamweaver cross from mod seeds. the godbud cross hermied late into flower so i figured at harvest the bluedream was in week 4 of flower and i wanted to see if the pollen was viable. and sure enough i got three seeds, first seeds ever!! and on my fav. bluedream. then i was worried that i used pollen from a hermie. i popped the seeds and one shot up real quick and died in 4 days lol. one never opened and the last one produced a beautiful male that looked like the mom. i was confused i used hermie pollen. that male ended up bringing fire to everything it touched. he brought the smells of the bluedream with him. im getting great structure and yeild from him too. the only problem other then i dont have him anymore is that i also had two other males in the mix and i got to hunt thru all the seeds and id the ones that the bluedream/godbud male pollenated. which is easy to do, he brought forward a heavy bluedream influence. im searching thru these seeds for a male to go back into the original mom for a second bluedream backcross. nothing but fire!! the bluedream/godbud male also hit a short list of females that he really did good things with. ok let me think...... bluedream, norcal fire og, green crack, white widow, grease, godbud/dreamweaver, g13, grape ape norcal bagseed, and xxx og bagseed. the xxx og male i let stay seemed to muddy the waters, im yet to find a keeper from this male. the grape ape male is hit and miss, its doing good things to the green crack sofar. i have a nice green crack/grape ape cross going right now and she has some of the fire og bx seeds in it too. no female escaped unseeded this year!! i used a green crack x bluedream/godbud male to pollenate a banana og cut and the bluedream cut for some straight fire. i named the bluedream x (green crack x bluedream/godbud) **DREAM CUSH** i lack the green crack cut to further the green crack line. im still looking for a legit cut to replace the one i had. the dream cush has been handed out to my friends and ive got a couple going right now. it really resembles the blue dream but more skunky fruity. i have quite a few of the dream cush seeds and will be looking to make some f2's with this strain. i have one cut from the norcal fire og cut crossed with the norcal grape ape bagseed male. i call it DDD. (digdug'sdank) not as smelly as the mom but the male made her easier to grow, brought structure, yeild, and longevity of high to the mix. everybody luv's this cut. it grows like pure kush, golfballs. thats it for now, thanks for reading, digdug!!

hi D, - Was reading the part you used some hermie pollen on your best true female, the 3 seeds one of which was a male you wrote,
can you recall if it was a true type of male or maybe Intersexed male,?
Ive had similar experience with regards to hermie pollen or intersexd male pollen also, I found to my amazement the seeds produced by the intersex male turned out a very high female only ratio, 99% in my case, and have since read other breeders online have found this very thing to,
my girl/male helped tidy or clean up my female plants arms so they wernt too bushy anymore, however this will always carry the hermie gene in my opinion and can eventually just turn a whole tested seed line into all hermies by no fault of a breeder though, could happen just as it does with pure land race plants that can hermie up,sum make it as females though, these less likely to hermie as much if used into a new generation I suspect,

How did your female/ male ratio turn out with the male you got from the 3 original seeds you got the one from, interesting to get ya take on that mate.

Yes I have found similar results, and I was talking with RD from so cal seed co. About elites male chemd. He had no clue about male/female ratios. I beat this particular male up and abused him pretty good. And he seemed ok, he just kept on growing and throwing balls!! Never saw a female flower on him. I was amazed and shocked, then I learned that it can happen. I am getting more females from him in his progeny, but im also finding some very nice boys too. I used two identical boys who's mom was green crack to hit up the blue dream to make my dream cush strain. All the females I find from him have been amazing. Im still sifting thru all my stuff to find gems one at a time. I have not seen any hermies from my seeds at all. Im kinda surprised cause im not a breeder, at least not an educated one. I read and learn new stuff everyday! This hobby has no limits to what you can learn. This is a great subject and should be discussed on its own thread, if there isnt already one going! Thanks for reading about my adventures. Btw I hooked up with RD from so cal seed co. I smoked him out with my fire og, and white lightning and got baked. I will probably start testing and logging some of their strains. Very cool! Lots of good stuff coming. Digdug!!

Ok so im gonna start helping RD from so cal seed co. Make seeds!! Im very excited to be learning the ropes. Im gonna help make selections for his seed line and help take care of his gardens. Its getting harder for him to move around, and keep up with demands. It will be a win win for both of us!! We are still working out the kinks, and getting to know each other! I have a few cuts he wants to use and he has a few I want. This has pushed me forward quickly, im already starting to make lists for possible seed lines that digdug will offer. Yes im gonna start a small seed company, and see where it takes me. I will be at so cal seed co's booth for shows to help him there too. Im very excited, things are moving quickly now. The first project we will be working on is a high cbd strain. We will be growing out the dawgtonic and testing out all the males to find the right one for the AC/DC cut. This project is gonna take some time and lots of testing. Very exciting to be working with the AC/DC cut. Ive read nothing but good things about this strain. Digdug!!

All right everything went very well and I have what I need to start the cbd project for so cal seeds. RD came by and dropped off some goods for this project. We are working with the AC/DC mom and the harlequin mom. I am going to start the seeds of dawgtonic to select high cbd males. Ive started the dawg tonic seeds from socal seed co, in search for nice males to hit the AC/DC mom. Ive also started a few of my crosses as well. I have bamf og bx1 started, bamf cookies, and my firecracker! My dream cush are starting to show sex, I have one that preflowered a lot earlier then the rest. Most the time the males show sex first but this girl is a champ so far. Only the 1 female so far and 2 confirmed males. There were 8 that made my cuts so far, only the best can hang out here. My sour strawberry kush from Bog ive got 2 males and 1 on the fence still. One of the males is leaning hard on the sour bubble side with fat short overlapping leaves. I will use him on a few of my females and for f2'$ of the ssk.
on another note we have been searching for a new pad with no luck so far. We have a couple of emails out that we are waiting for replys back. There is one house that we drove by yesterday that will work nicely, it has a huge backyard with plenty of room for a greenhouse. Ill let u know more as I know! I will be at the kush expo all day Saturday in the socal seed co booth. I will have some of my beans as well as socal seed co's full current catalog. Stop by and say hey!

I found out that one of my original crosses had my parents backwards! I thought that the godbud x dreamweaver was in order but it seems I had it wrong and it should be
dreamgoddess = dreamweaver mom x godbud males.
so that is what is crossed with my blue dream mom. And from that blue dream x dreamgoddess cross, I got my beautiful male that brings so many of the bluedream traits. This male has hit lots of females but has been long gone. But most importantly he hit his mother the bluedream, for a blue dream bx1 Im searching thru these seeds as we speak to find a male that I like to use for a blue dream bx2 seed run that will lead to a 3rd bx until im happy. Ive found to many keepers to keep !! Lol. I just wanted to clear that up. I also got my 818og cuts and the source I got them from just wants me to make s1'$ for personal stash. I love my sources! They are very good to me. I gotta find my original greencrack clone only cut again. Ive been wanting me some of that goodness in my garden again. Id also like a real cut of the TK, but who wouldn't? Lol! I have quite a bit in my stable to offer. Thanks Digdug!!

The htcc is coming up and im going to be able to make it this year after all. I am going to be in So Cal Seed co's booth. The full current catalog will be offered and available from So Cal Seeds. I will also have some of my strains with me. I am also going to be at the kush expo in Anaheim the following weekend. I will only be in Anaheim on the 6th of July.
