lol purple skunk is thai x kush? man that doesn't seem accurate if god bud = purple skunk more of a hawaiian, pine, lavendar smell/taste. I don't know how the BC market is not always demanding God bud A+++

i just base my opinions on experience. i have seen god bud listed as purple skunk x hawaiiam. any packs of god i have seen or grown have all had that very deep, rich, pungetnt skunk smell, just like the original nl#2 clone

Just to be clear, you have a Skunk#1 clone from 1984?
I have many from 1986 and on.
Is yours from the USA? Where?
Did you grow the seed the clone was made from?

seeds were obtained between 82-84, popped in 86', yes its from the US, pre dutch as i refer to it. not going to go into any more specifics. this is a fine tool to have in the box, lol so i have a skunk thats older than any skunk you have? crazy shit

Your clone is from 1986 from seeds from 82-84? Then they are basically the same as my clones as mine were grown from seeds I made back in 80-84. Your clone is the same age as mine I popped mine in 1986. From seeds made around the same time as the seeds you used.
The differences is in the selection of what clone to keep.
I selected mine from 20,000 Skunk#1, they were selected because they were the best as well sweeter with a more up high, I also did specific combining ability trials with the selected 10 girls and the selected best 10 boys, so I used 100 plants from each of the 100 different combinations from the (10 females X 10 males selected the year before), so 10,000 plant for trials. That showed which female gave the highest quality, strongest, biggest yielder, most consistent progeny, etc, etc. It also showed which males contributed to the highest quality, strongest, biggest yielder, most consistent progeny, etc, etc. And that allowed choices to make future Skunk#1 seeds if I wanted the most consistent, or the highest quality, or best tasting, or strongest, etc, it was easy to do so. If that single trait was more important I could use the best clones male and female for that, or if all were of similar importance, I liked using the most consistent maker of seeds. Every plant from these seeds looked like it was the same "clone" even thousands and thousands of plants all from seed......

Wasn't trying to get a rise in ya, Just doesn't seem likely to me. Plenty of experience with god bud the year it won the cup. Jordan says God = Purple skunk in some of his descriptions? I've heard PS x Hawaiian. I've grown NL as well.
But if you say PS is thai x kush then who am I too judge lol.

taking your money.. i bought everything.. that i could find.. that was supposed to be RKS.. supposed to stink like a dead skunk. never found anything but sweet skunks. i found a few that were kinda stinky.. but then cured out to be more sweet .. it was bred out a long time ago.. and unless some1 kept a clone.. or made some s1s..or maybe bagseed from back in the day.. but honestly.. i spent 1000 on seeds.. to try an find it ..found nothing worth keeping.. tho..

the only thing i found that was worth keeping was a plastic bag of seeds labeled REAL SKUNK.. that i got from my fathers best friend.. must be like 100 seeds.. but i popped 10. and found a nice big giant cola plant.. that smells like skunk and garlic.

That looks nice TPFTFW. Have a Willie's 30 year Afghan I can't wait to see what it turns into. Hope it's an old skool skunk Afghan. Last roadkill seen was a few years ago in PA. Knew the second I puffed it and smelled it.
Back in 87 popped a skunk bud seed and it grew 8ft across and 5-6 ft tall, like a hedge with big fat colas. It was afghan dominate in everyway. The plate leaf and red hairs were exactly like TPF's. The strain was grown for a minimum of 10 years during 82-92 and could have been earlier.
