I've been growing it for over 7+ years, you can see my results in my pic gallery, the clones were from 303 seeds I'm pretty sure, ill be at the Cannabis Cup in Denver this year picking new stock but Blue Dream has been "berry berry good to me" < I made that up just now I think, to funny though?.

Blue Dream wouldn't be my first choice for personal use because of the ceiling/potency issue, but there's still a whole lot to like about it. It's super-easy to grow. Aesthetically, it's very nice bud. It smells and tastes great. It's FAST because you can flower it straight from clone and get a bunch of heavily loaded three-footers in 60 days. Zero veg necessary because it's such a stretcher. Yield is very good, and the stuff is super-easy to trim (except for having to clean your scissors every third bud, the flowers are so resinous). Everyone I've shared with loves it. Yeah, I prefer stonier goodies, but I'm perfectly happy to grow this one for others.

Couldn't have said it better myself....

From a consumer standpoint I don't like it....not potent enough even when done too the max....maybe if it was 1/2 the price of everything else....I know when I do go to clubs to get smoke I find it offensive that this is in the same price category as other top shelf stuff.... when I grew out a batch of clones they were massive yeilders

I received a cut from a good friend and was very hesitant for all of the reasons most of you have mentioned in this thread BUT after running one plant (been growing for 10+ years) I was very impressed.
Our cut actually vegges pretty slow but she goes 9 weeks max, very PM resistant but the spider mites do love her.

Smells like a perfect mix of blueberry and haze, women and "newer" smokers love it.

Gonna make some crosses of it this summer using Sensi's Jack Herer and Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze to bump up the sativa influence.

Ps. Grew a freebie BDream from Humboldt seed co., wasn't anything to write home about, fat ass indica dom leaves and a non descript smell.

I have the same feeling about a lot of unfinished sativas that I see at the club. I hate seeing 'frosty' stuff on the top shelf when you can tell that it was pulled weeks early and has no kick to it.

Our BD is by far our most popular. Tests at 22% and was basically a DJ Short Blueberry i crossed to a Haze #1. Its super fire and super frosty.

It does very well in indoor vert.

Blue Dream has a lot going for it yet would agree with others regarding the ceiling/potency issue. For me it got boring fast.

Thats not BD, thats bluberry x haze, dont call it bd

wtf now everyone who cracks bd crosses is passing along clones as bd, then making the shit even more confusing.

meh

the real bd is a nice plant, a real gem. She just got whored out, but hey, it happens.

too bad lots of you posting in here probably arent growing/smoking the real thing

Pretty much all the BD I've run across has been the same. TJO...is Nomaad's BD the real deal? Had that also and typical except he did a great job with it so definitely a notch above. Had a BD x Lavender cross recently and while the grower liked it better than the BD he'd been running the Lavender didn't add much IMO except for some improved growth characteristics.

I've seen 3 BD cuts that I'm familiar with. They all have a ton of vigor and outgrow most other plants.
The best one has the lighter color flowers, more trichomes, and thinnest leaf blades of the three.
BD is sensitive to overwatering when it's still young and roots searching. It finishes between OCT 10-25 depending on how much space the roots have to thrive. I bet if you put it in a 20 X 20 raised bed it could pull over 15 and finish as late as Nov. In a 200 it'll fill out root space with a cutting taken as late as Apr and pull up to 6, done as early as OCT 10, usually around the 14th is perfect. Take mid-late March cuttings for 300 gals. I would love to run it in 400's one day.
They are all very similar, who knows which is which. Still gotta rock it at least a little.

I don't feel like I gotta rock it...I feel like I wanna rock it. I am guessing that is actually a pretty big distinction.

Youre right. It's better. LOL

Tests well from 2 diff labs and smells like a damn blueberry muffin covered in sugar. No complaints here.

Don't hate.

i agree there are a couple legit cuts out there, and having tended them both, i cant say theres a huge difference, but it is there, fwiw, imho though they are both worthy to stand up against most things out there that can do what she does

its nice genetic, great smoke, and a fun plant to tend. The fact that poor growers have brought down the name doesnt take anything away from it in my eyes, I still view the real green crack as some heady top shelf stuff, but the sad fact is poor growers and fake cuts have made green crack lose lose some fans

yup, the same could be said of many other super silver haze hybrids too, she makes some amazing breeding stock to grow 10 plus lb plants
