I have sooo many sativas waiting for my new place. i have tom hills haze, tom hills deep chunk x haze, ghost train haze #1 and #9, lots more rare dankness gear. I almost want to pick up some original destroyer now myself.

I want to get some Mr. nice mango haze, and possibly nevilles

Great thread man... what a sexy tent packed with wild sativa ladies! ;)

That Destro-malawi looks amazing, so sugary! Malawi strain was from ACE too? Anyway Destroyer is also such a frosty strain so the mix gotta be a bomb for sure. Love the bud structure as well.

The OT is definitely one to wait long for... you can see she's a tropical beast and quite sensible to nutes too, but those trichs are already filling up so now the best is about to start! Normally resin just covers the calyxes so they aren't as spectacular as others but what matters here is the high!

Best vibes for that garden... soon you will need to start sharpening your machete.:tiphat:

I would make the move on that destroyer. I liked the original quite a bit. I always want to order Rare Dankness cougar piss but it's never in stock in the right spot. I think the tom haze is pretty comparable to the haze I have going.

Thanks Mustafunk! Destroyer is from Cannabiogen, close connection to Ace, and the Malawi was from Ace. All that frost is from the hard work of the Spanish brothers in their breeding.

I have to be honest, I cut off a very small 'nug' from a lower branch of the Haze and smoked it.

I had to really restrain myself from doing another. Even a little early its pretty strong and really enjoyable.

While some of the branches on the Haze are starting to almost look dank

others are only starting

Here's the clone of the Haze, growing happily in the greenhouse, topped and supercropped.

And the Destroyer x Malawi (i call her Frost Monster) clone, already taller than the mother ever vegged to. She has many months of veg ahead and with the way she is finishing it looks like I might let her get big big outside this summer. I hope she goes above 20 ft if I do!

I have a question for everyone and anyone.

A little under a week ago there was a power outage and the light cycle in the tent was disrupted. Instead of the normal 9.5 hours of light, the plants received about 4 hours and then the lights were off for the next 10 hours. Then the power came back on, but my light timer is uses a rotating central control that stopped at whatever time the power shut off and then just picked up again when the power was restored. So the plants ended up getting 4 hours light, 10 hours dark, 5.5 hours light, 14.5 hours dark, and then since it was all screwed up anyway I adjusted for daylight savings time, so instead of the lights coming on at 11am and shutting off at 8:30pm, now its 10am to 7:30pm. So all in all, a good amount of light stress.

So the Frost Monster (Destroyer x Malawi) has thrown one male flower in her upper bract.

My question is this: Is the plant reacting to stress the way it normally should, or is that not enough stress to actually cause a plant to herm and she is, in fact, a genetic hermaphrodite that will pass on that undesirable trait?

Basically, do I rejoice that I accidentally made an S1 generation, pop the seeds I get and keep the clone I have, or feed the seeds to my chickens and cull the clone?

Arghh damn that's sucks... Try to knock into veg and flower again? To bad you can't install backup power like with PC, lights take so much more.

I've seen 10k + watt grows on solar power, with an air conditioning system, fans and co2 as well. The problem is, you'd need to spend at least $150,000 probably a lot more on a system like that and if you did that you would be pretty well forced to do a commercial grow. I live rurally and getting off the grid is pretty important to me right now, this power outage is a wakeup call. We have had extremely strange weather in western co lately that has caused all sorts of issues like this...floods, ridiculously high winds, and a foot of snow last night that is COMPLETELY gone now, eight hours later. I guess its this way across the globe, new normal?

Mine too man

there's nothing to be sorry or disappointed about. I just got my 420 scope in the mail yesterday and under 60x magnification the Frost Monster is about 10% amber. There will not be time for seeds to develop in her calyxes, nor the other crosses or the panama, they are all too close to harvest. The Haze has two types of buds right now: almost mature and brand new, about 50/50. So at worst I'll still have half the plant seedless, and then a crop of seeds from a cross that I would have eventually made anyway.

It's too late in the grow for a little pollen to do much to the potency of the 4 maturing plants, and its not like a seed or two would make the Destroyer x Malawi NOT dank as hell, anyway.

MORE SEEDS = MORE WEED

another thing, theres no telling if it's viable pollen anyhow, or if the nanner even released any pollen. I have had plants throw one/two nanners (female seeds C99 does this) that just never produce pollen.

Destroyer x Chocolope #2, smell has changed again, now it smells exactly like a ripe peach:

Destroyer x Chocolope #1 lower apical NUG...this plant has the chocolope yield, extremely dense flower clusters, comparable to any indica and indica dominant strains I have grown or seen:

Frost Monster foxtails. This is where the nanner was but I can't spot it:

dude i want everything in here

ripe peaches? YUM! :good:

The more I smoke, the more smell and taste become important to me, and I am not disappointed by how the genetic combinations are playing out in these crosses. Destroyer adds a really nice herbal woody spice to the total sweet fruity blast of the Chocolope. I have only ever smelled malawi by rubbing the stem of the male I used, but Destroyer x Malawi is some deep, ancient smelling, pungent carrot anise zest that I'm itching to burn.
