Looking good Bobble! Interesting soil analysis...hmmm maybe we should get ours tested?, I'll have to see if the partner will pay for it though.

One thing I did to help make the next one better was get a soil test like I've been preaching! :tiphat: No more guessing games.

Good on you! I'm in the same boat -- been telling everyone in my life they need a soil test, but as you know, I have yet to get one in my beds :moon:
I really appreciate you posting them, too, since it gives me some sort of reference for my own tests next month. Thanks again buddy!

Seeing how your operation is supposed to be even bigger than mine... Yes, I would strongly suggest you have a soil analysis done so that you know what your plant need and don't need.

I used a conversion factor of 0.00035 for lbs from 1 acre to 1 bed. My calculations called for 580g FeSO4, 6g CuSO4, 640g K2SO4... and I haven't got around to the Mn, B, Co, and a little more S. I could have just thrown down some azomite but that would be more of a guessing game imo.

Check out Spectrum and micro 5000 from tainio..

Will do. Looks like some interesting products. I'll have to call my local retailer. Thanks for the tip. Are you using them in conjunction with teas, or as a replacement?

Headband- If my death star clones don't start taking off, I have more Headband for backup. Headband has always treated me well.

Lol... I don't defoliate. Some people say it works... but most of the time people stunt their plants or get no yield increase ime... I cut out a lot of inner branches in the first 2 weeks. I was cutting off whole branches from the headband. After that I just pull fans as they turn yellow. I've been supplying my dispensary with bubble for a few years now. Nothing gets wasted. Any buds that are loose just get turned into bubble.

Interesting. Buds look delicious regardless :woohoo:

Really cool thread Bobble! It's been awhile since ive lurked over here and saw your thread, wow what a big turn around with your organic gardening! Have you heard of Grow Kashi and probiotic farming? Ive got Gage Green on my facebook and that's how I learned of it. Haven't given it a shot yet but it looks be along the same as what your trying to accomplish with the living earth. Composting on top to feed whats beneath creating a fungal system. I bet that OG Biowar just thrives in your new setup! That's probably the single best product I ve ever seen have imediate results. Love those teas!

lol personally I'm not happy with how the plants look... but this is still the overall best grow in this room so far. Each grow keeps getting better, which is the idea of no-till soil and dialing in your room. I vegged these plants longer and I didn't flip them until I felt they were healthy enough for flower.

The setbacks this time around were environmental. I blame it on the polar vortex sucking any moisture out of the air and abnormally low temps that caused my mini split to freeze up multiple times. I got it all figured out but the damage was done. After a year of growing in this room I'm sure I'll have it all figured out.

Yeah Ichabod was telling me about bokashi... I've been to occupied to read into it honestly. The OG Biowar is awesome when I use it regularly. I got lazy about it this time around. My soil test shows it. I applied a bunch of each pack about a week or two ago, and now my soil is coated in microbial growths.

Thanks for popping in.

Hey bobble have you noticed any decrease in beneficial bug population using ogbiowar?

Nope... Its impossible to eradicate soil mites... the worms eat bacteria... and everything else is crawling around in there somewhere... I'm not gonna disturb the roots to go searching.

Holy crap......nice job bro...but I expect nothing less from yah!
