whats the best tasting strain you have ever had?

So out of the 20 odd strains I grew in 2013 Blue Berry was not just my personal choice but most everybody loved it.. Not that I shared a lot of the 2 plants I had of it.. I still wasn't cloning my own yet so when my clone supply suddenly dried up I was screwed.. Months pass I'm rolling up the last of the first jar of BB when I see a seed in the end of the joint I'm about to stick in my face..
Only the 2ed seed of all the plants to turn up.. careful attention brought her to life and the seedling was just harvested.. I think we have a winner.. This time I was advanced enough to be taking my own clones so her line is continued.. Smells like blue berry when handled.. reeks of it when smoked.. Damn I like this strain..

blueberry.......smelled like blueberry muffins fresh out the oven and as potent as anything ive smoked...was indica dominant and very couch locky. i smoked some with a old head and this was the first time i seen someone get like a crackhead with weed, hitting the doobie like his life depended on it, then taking 1 in 1s with the smoke rollin off the doob. i still lol

bubba kush..... it was like a hunter green color, with burning orange/red hairs and tasted just like chocolate/coffee. one of the best smokes ive ever came across. i still find myself remembering that taste after all this time. i really wish i could find out where that came from, id def.be adding that specific cut in my garden.

I can´t name just one:

Blueberry, Nebula,Super Skunk, Shark....

IMO when you smoke all the time the same strain, you appreciate it less; I like to have diferent strains (if posible).

It´s like eating everyday caviar or whatever you fancy. You don´t appreciate it like when you eat it now and then.

I think I have that same variation/pheno of Bubba Kush myself. It's really dark green with dark red and orange hairs and tastes just like chocolate/coffee. The buds are pretty large and VERY dense. I don't know it's origins either as my buddy just sold me an oz after he got back from Cali. It's a very pleasurable smoke for taste and its extremely relaxing/pain relieving effects. Wish I had a cutting or a seed of it...

For me it's hard to separate the smell from the effect.

In 2004 I had some Romulan from Next Generation seeds - that smelled like Playdough.


Now, I do not ordinarily enjoy the smell of Playdough that much. I don't wear Playdough cologne, I don't buy my women friends Playdough smelling perfume. I don't walk into toy stores and head straight for the Playdough section to take a good strong whiff.

BUT - ever since that Romulan - the smell of Playdough has had a new meaning.

Super up high, ready to smoke as soon as it was dry (not harsh at all), and just plain strong.

If it smelled like Playdough, I wasn't going to chuck it in favor of the more Skunky smelling Rom's.


I like the smell of fruity sativa's and berry-ish plants like Romberry.

And I like the Skunk smell. I would like to see women wearing Skunk perfume, but maybe the closest they can get is to carry a bud in their shirt pocket or something.

I don't think I've ever met a Cannabis plant that I didn't like the smell of.

The Colombian of the mid seventies prior to the big surge. When it first came in, black, red, or gold, that would taste like something out of a spice rack and so strong that 3 puffs could could well be a day ender even for most serious of consumer.

Yes, LAWD!! I experienced that, too. Mine was the red. The gold didn't seem as spicy. I've been searching for that taste since the 70's. It still escapes me. If I had one flavor to take to heaven, that would be the one.

That's a tough question... So many great flavors out there. I'd say a few of my favs are: Obama Kush ( Pre '98 Bubba x Mendo Purps ), Kosher Kush DNA's cut, and BombThreat Bubba.

A great blueberry flavor has always been my favorite but I do enjoy a nice sour/fuel/kush flavor as well. Had a grapefruit diesel that tasted exactly as it sounded. Would like to try some of these orange flavors floating around.

I must agree, in Michigan back around 1975 it was called red bud, mad dog, n connoisseur Colombian, I've smoked & grew lots of fine pot's in my time n nothing can compare to red bud. I heard that, that strain was lost due to greed ( the person that had that bean wouldn't share, he died n took it with him) That what my dealer said, I know that back then, that the cartel ran things. I know it sounds weared, but that's what I was told. Ps I know u said it had lots of seeds but the stuff that was here for around 3 years had very few mature seeds in it they were mostly small n white with a few very light brown seeds that did not germ.

Apollo reminds me a lot of Cinderella 99. Smells like it.

I got a 10 pack (of C99) from HS, and they were beautiful, fruity.


I have a hard time ID'ing exactly which fruit the Apollo smells like.

But the aftertaste is a fruit of some kind.

Mainly, although un-cured, it is not harsh. So I can go back for another puff ... and another.

Definitely the Apollo with the Cinderella fruity taste is a good daytime smoke.

Oh for sure I can't believe I forgot to list Apollo and genius. I really love that line! I need to get a cut back of either of those too, feel so dumb for letting it go.. that said if I were able to get back those cuts I let slip through my fingers I wouldn't know where to begin. I already have my hands full.

Mother ship is another one of my favorite tasting. Cannabis strains. Wish I could get that one back too. Nice yeilds of dank heady buds. Very skunky tasting with a nice earthy over tones and a almost kuchy bottom end. Great smoke!

Huh odd, Ive ran 2 packs of romulan diesel and never found any phenos I liked. Had the strong pine smell that is associated with romulan but it literally did nothing for me. I seen many phenos too, I heard about it a lot from old heads that's why I grabbed two packs. I recently ran Fire Alien Romulan by OGR too, not a big fan of that either.

I can say the RD looked really pretty and frosty at least but the smoke was just average, in my opinion.
