hi surfdout and homebrewer what I know or have read about the p.t. is to conflicting storys one it was a plant grown in Switzerland in a certain valley area and it was a sativa which this is definitely a worked crossing I got .the second story is a swiss ag student developed it while pot was legal in the land of banks and chocolate and did their graduate papers on the breeding

a friend of coastal seeds in California picked it up over there from a company called owls seeds at a swiss seed bank they shared it with me way back and I grew the seeds they gave me and gave them half of what I grew and used it in some of my breeding because of the great mold resistance it has .

coastal grew it outdoors one year in cali and it tested I think around 10% thc but it was way stonier than the test indicated.i know because he shared a little with me to incourage me to experiment with it.it was a colorfull plant lot of purple and red in it .I had more than enuff for my future using of it so I am passing it on to others who need a good plant for outdoors that has amazing mold resistance. it is also a fast finisher outdoors .rather than see it lost to legend like so many strains I hope this will give it a way to survive for future growers to use .

the Mexican I don't have pictures of my self but coastal grew some and posted pictures of the a few of the Mexican strains that are in this mix when they were posting grows him and bamboo were doing last year at tsd sight . its one of those things I don't have the time to do myself and while the path to the Mexican landrace was open to me I got what I could and have kept the sorted ones for future use in my breeding .

with the situation the way it is in mexico I was told this probable would be my last chance to get landrace from the familys of the growers down there since the cartels are telling them what to grow now and killing people left and right who did not go along with their program .they also are killing people who try to bring their own weed up and who snoop around down there for weed .

it was just pure luck I met someone who was involved with mexico and the growers since the sixtys who felt like I did before meth and murder destroyed the native and peasant landrace down there we should get what we could of the best strains coming out from down there while the getting was good. the sativa strains from there are simply amazing and when they have not been pressed to rock and sat for half a year in some way station.

they rival the best pot from asia , india , Africa since a lot of mexicos old strains came from a time when it was legal to grow its not surpising since a lot of the strains spread form a drug company experimenting with strains from all over the world down there and here in the usa and found they actually were better with care grown there and in the states than from their native lands marijuana was in a lot of old patent medicines and they were looking at a better supply and not having to transport pots for exstactions from half way around the globe aloha classic seeds

whats romulan suppose to smell like? i ask because i grew 2 seeds out & i ended up with 1 female that smelled very sweet & fruity & hermied bad 4 weeks in flower i ripped it & trashed it right away to prevent it from pollenating all my other plants in flower....im now wondering what my other 8 seeds still in the fridge will turn out like if i grow them out........ i got them from TSD & that may say it all.

hi icon sorry sounds like you got screwed by jb I keep getting people telling me they did not get their orders its funny because they ran out of romulan there and i had not rebred a restock because I was getting the run around about being paid after letting my payments ride to let him stay open but we all know he did not have any real problems except in the honesty department . I talked to Kagyu the other day bamboo is back from settling his father untimely death as a aid worker in Afghanistan .so that aside they are hanging in there but with everything that has happened bamboo has been out of the picture for a few months but they will keep their promise to you when ever they can aloha cls ps the romulan has a mild smell some people have said its kind of nutty but it does not have much smell nor have I ever got a floral fruity smell from mine .I have inbred it for 25 years or longer and it should not be making hermies at all .jb pulled a lot of swiching on people the last 6 or months or maybe longer .it sounds like he sent you a lavender cross he had in his own seed line up. I got to go to bed I forgot to answer your question surfdout I had both as male and female so either one could be the mom or the dad I mixed them all together since they were not for sale but chances are ssh was the mom since there were 3 of her and only one female jack herer

hi they made it so here are the discriptions and pictures for Clarence to be able to get them up #1 [chemdog x c-99] X Purpurea Tensinesus this is a good one for warmer drier climates it has some faster phenos in it but I don't count them in figuring flowering times and will stick to 8 to 10 weeks of flowering time indoors and done out doors by late September . 10+ regular seeds picture of seeded mother plant

#2 [chemdog x c-99] X [chemdog x sour diesel] its a nice blend that favors the chem in the crosses its a 8 -10 week flowering time indoors and done out doors in early October I would not recommend it for harsh rainy climates out doors 10 + regular seeds picture of seeded mother plant

now for number #3 mixed mutts [superstar dog x chemdog] X [chemdog x super skunk ]its several chems I had growing to test that I found the best ones and crossed them to each other and then took the best 2 crosses and crossed them .its almost pure chem except for the super skunk I added to one of the chems .its not a good out door strain unless your in a area where it stays dry thru October .its a little longer flowering than the others by 1 weeks so expect 9-11 weeks flowering time indoors but the bigger buds are worth the extra week .late October outdoors 10 + regular seeds picture of seeded mother plant

now for #4 chemdog x sour diesel this is the chemdog I got from a friend that I ignored for 2 decades I grew out 40 seeds and found 2 stable females and one male I used to make the chemdog I have been breeding with. this line he gave me and it yield was poor till I put sour diesel in with it .I don't claim to be some chem guru these are the end of the line for me I might use it in crosses in the future with some of my my stable strains . its a 8-10 week indoor flowering time and finished for me outdoors mid October so its not a good out door choice if you get rain in September where you live . 10 + regular seeds picture of seeded mother plant

on to #5 Purpurea Tensinesus F-2 these came a gift from a friend who was traveling Europe he picked these up in Switzerland from a seed shop there they were from owl seeds if I labeled them right when I stored them .he sent me some he had grown and its mold resistance was some of the best I have seen in my coastal climate of fog and rain .its a fast finisher outdoors done by mid September .if your looking to breed some mold resistance to your favorite out door strain this addition to it will fit the bill without dominating what its bred to. 8-9 weeks indoor flowering time done by mid September outdoors .its a colorfull strain also 10 + regular seeds

onward with this loading #6 critical romulan [romulan joes x skunk ] X afghan its a good one indoors and finishes outdoors early October so if your not in a dry climate its not a good choice for outdoors ,its dense buds will mold with heavy fogs or rain later in flowering outdoors .its one of my favorite for just sitting and zoning out everthing that is bothering me and letting me get a good nights sleep free from aches and pains . its 8 -10 weeks flowering time indoors and early October outdoors 10 + regular seeds

now for #7 Plata y Plomo this is a mix of Mexican landraces a friend has been sending me they are all landrace seeds from southern and central mexico .they are the best that still was coming out of the sierra madre del sur and sierra madre oriental areas of mexico along with some from central mexico .I still don't know how I got blessed with this bounty of Mexican seeds but some were sorted as to locales and some were mixed .these are the mixed ones I received and am passing on to people who want to grow the best mexico has to offer before its all gone. the outdoor flowering time is October thru November on some 10 -16 weeks indoor flowering times .the name of these says it all the cartels posted these signs up at the border to tell these indian growers they either sell to them or die if they get caught by the plaza chiefs trying to cross themselves . the one on the left is a Columbian landrace the one on the right is a Mexican landrace 10+ regular seeds

I am done now and hope you all enjoy these strains have a good spring , summer is just around the corner I hope with all the crazy weather maybe we are skipping spring this year and going straight to summer in a few months aloha cls

Good vibes Classic!
I like the straight forward approach showing the seeded up mothers.

I already have loquats turning ripe and figs the size of golf balls in my yard. Didn't use the central heating once or insulate any windows all winter. This is so cal but still.. anyways It's always nice dropping in this thread figured I'd give a shout out. Peace

hi Bob thanks for dropping by .if more people showed the seeded mother people could tell the vigor in the stock being breeded all these chems kept making new seed sights right up till harvest even though they were already heavily seeded they did not quite making tri chromes which lets me know I picked the right mothers .when a plant stops flowering because its been pollenated its usually going to be low yields the from the seeds that it makes . aloha cls
