Gnats in coc choir - question about Gnatrol

I started having Gnats problem at the end of the last grow.
This time they returned in vegge.

I found this product called "Gnatrol". My hydro guy strongly recommended it.
You mix it with your food and water as you water the plants. The plants do not eat this stuff and it goes for the larva. So I started to use that along with some yellow pads almost on every plant.

Have you guys heard of this product "Gnatral"? What was the results?

I've never had occasion to use it, so this is mostly for a bump.

It's my understanding that it works well, but how well, I couldn't say. The Infirmary forum is a good place to look for an answer, too!

Just as an FYI:

Apparently, two applications would be called for! Once for the adults and existing larva and once for the larva that will emerge later.

I will tell you this. I don't know how well it play with plants but gnats are gone! After the first application?.. But they are gone!

Yes it works very well. Its just Bt toxin so it is just about harmless. I crumble it up and sprinkle it on top of the soil and water it in. Use some sticky traps to take out the adults and you are all set.

I am interested in buying it, but I have a question, can be used along with chemical fertilizers in coco, or better only use water+Gnatrol?

I think it works best to just crumble them up and place on top of the soil. If you do mix it with your fert water just make sure you check your pH and you should be fine.

Stuff works great in hydro, both flood and drain and DWC. Found GOGNATS does as well.
