Thanks overgrow! things are starting to plump up now! Been slowly thinning out some fan leaves over the past couple days....maybe a handful a day....nothing too drastic

not only does it look better, but i can feel more air comin up through the canopy which should help with air circulation

hey whitelotus, everything is great in this thread. :tiphat: i'll have a better look into your brewer... i would like to build one myself as i'm doing some homemade compost... :) i also dig your bubble-cloner... for now i stick to the old school coffe-glasses+soil+dome+rooting-hormone method: i have a high percentage of rooting clones, but the bubbler is intriguing... would you say rooting is faster with the bubbler vs. traditional dome method?
i'm here :lurk: if ya' don't mind... :)

Thanks for stoppin in Libeccio! I can give ya a parts list if ya want on the brewer....ive now modified it 3 times and i think im done changing things.

In regards to the cloner, i get 100% everytime when i use it.....just ph the water to 5.8, dip the cut in rooting hormone, and just scrape the stem a bit....usually have roots int 8-12 days.

Ive also cloned in just clear cups with coco...those took a tad longer to root and seemed to be more finicky about environment.

Ah ha! Now I see. Is the fabric exposed to the air at all, or is it stuck between the dirt & lumber?

(If it's not exposed to the air, what's the benefit?) :dunno:

Theres no sides to the frame.....just legs. so the entire sides of the box are all exposed to air except where the 6 legs are

Thats a great dripper system. I havent used them because of the inconsistantcy of even moisture levels. This one looks like it evenly waters the medium perfectly.

yeah for the outdoor veggies i dont worry so much about coverage....indoors i use blackholehydro halos and in 2 gallon smart pots they work great

Are those on a timer? What kind of intervals? How often do you have to adjust the intervals during the life-cycle?

They look like they'd provide good coverage, vs. a basket stake!

Silver,

the blackhole halos are on a 1/2" poly manifold that goes to a 396gph pump. I have that plugged into a digital timer that does 1 minute intervals. Typically i start out at 2-3 waterings per day in veg then up to 4 in flowering. 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm.
