We melted a lot of snow in the last few day. My roof is almost clean again but the streets are a mess. The 6+ inches of packed snow on them turned to slush and now froze so it's like driving rally cross to get around town.

It's been full on spring weather the last few weeks here. While it's officially still winter. Unheard of, heat records have been broken a few times already. Plants and flowers are blooming waaay earlier than they would normally bloom.

This makes perfect sense in a weather manipulation theory. If they manipulate the weather in the USA to be extremely cold, it's bound to be extremely hot somewhere else, just like when they create massive storms somewhere there's going to be massive droughts elsewhere.

19F today @ 5pm when I left to go to the store, sunny w/low humidity I forgot to turn on the heat in my car; 8 miles to town, 3 stops & back home, never even thought about heat. as it was 19° I had a t-shirt w/a sweat shirt over that, warm weather gear.......

:)

We hit 83F on Tuesday. I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, bbq'ing and drinking beer outside in the sun while laughing like the nightmare was over. Back down to 25F this morning. :comfort:

That's crazy.... Even with global warming reaching a critical point temperatures wouldn't swing that much unless?
Sweating my balls off here, temps have been heating up a lot the last 2 weeks definitely no normal march weather... The first mosquito was buzzing around my head tonight, grmbl!

can't say that I've watched that show, and we don't have any mountains here, some hills or cliffs along Lake Superior; mostly we have lakes, rivers, streams and then a lot of swamp land. Minnesota is fairly flat.

if we stuck a few guys, dead of winter, out on an island in the middle of the lake and made 'em live off their skills we'd have some fatalities. windchill temps would be -55F easily in a cold spell while out there. could they kill a deer? drill through 3 feet of ice to catch fish???

maybe the film crew would toss 'em some energy bars, idk.......

Stoner4Life have you ever seen the tv show mountain men? is that like where you live ?

I live in an un-incorporated township, we don't have a real post office or city services, we're not a city. the general store is our post office, just like the show Green Acres, it has the barest essentials for mailing, no computer for tracking either.

20 miles between towns which are usually just wide spots on the highway. Police response time to my home is usually 30-45 minutes unless a deputy is nearby, so most of us carry pistols when we're out 'n about (I know I do, licensed too), you learn to depend on yourself.

I answer my door to strangers w/a pistol in hand but hidden from their view.

it used to be 75 miles round trip to the cinema, now that a new place has opened it's only 44 miles round trip. when I get to Bemidji there are 2 McDonalds; then to the east is the next closest McD's @ 65 miles or so, to the south the next one is 72 miles away & to the west it's 86 miles for a fast food burger fix.

it's real rural here, this is the land where God lost his sandals.......
