From what I've learned,For the best chance at minimal stress, ya don't want to touch em till the stretch is over 40%50% of the flowering time and then take it slow,over 10-15 days... Once all fans with stems are gone...Leave em alone till harvey...
Stress will flip em fast,thats for sure...
I flipped a couple SL early flower and man did they go mega male...lol
Would have given me LBS of pollen...lol Big Chickas...

Been wicked luck with de-fanning and have only had SL flip and a couple others stall but for the most part,they take it well...

Thanks Dawgie. I always try and get all the fans I can off before I flip but as you know, all the big dogs on the mag swear by defoilating throughout flower.

I'm over trying.

Last grow I defoilated once after the stretch and was fine.

Icmag learning curve strikes again.

You are definitely a multitasking maniac, finally got to sit down and read the entire post in one sitting, lots of valuable info here brother, keep up the good work. Still waiting to see what the house does with the bill introduced last month, lots of positive vibes and feedback but in this state who the fuck knows. Finally making head way on getting the genetics I need, also picked up some of your hardware.(Thanks) In July this year making a trip out to the Emerald Triangle area, through networking met some really good people from that area, and hoping they will share some of there genetics and lifes work with me. I surely hope they know I simply want to grow some of the best Cannabis on the market and eventually do some experimenting.
