hello i am new to the forum, looking for some advice and some guidance in co2 extraction.my new machine is in hand, getting ready to make first runs had some questions as far as how to find a happy medium in regards to getting the end product out of the machine, then winterizing or de wax, then de carb into final product of pure co2 oil that can be transferred into cartomizers. my degree is in micro molecular biology, so have plenty of background in chemistries and lab time... looking for a baseline to operate machine then would like to dial in..... i need some more fundamentals, and procedure after product is removed from machine>. trying to prepare best as possible thanks

There are plenty of THC extraction patents you can read that have process time, pressure-time curves, etc. in them... have you read those? I believe the one im thinking of was issued to GW Pharma. Google has a really great patent viewer that shows patent citations and also a list of later patents that cite the original. It's a pretty good launching point.

If you have more information on what variables you are able to control, who made your system(shouldn't you ask them?), and what you know already then I think we could be of more assistance.

The co2 guys I know all default to talking about consulting and were not willing to reveal detailed parameters of their setups.

Good luck and share what you find.
