Hey I am also vegging some seedlings under a cold spectrum flourescent. Can't wait to see your results! Tahoe OG is a personal favorite strain but definitely gonna be a stinker.

Cheers!

Why thank you DR. I definitely don't have enough coverage as far as lights go, now that they are in bigger pots. Well be adding the 1k MH in about 5 days.

The seedlings love the t5's though. I had these ones all of 5 inches away, young!, and they loved it. See root pic above. That was 13 days from seed

You can keep the flouros on them until harvest, The cold spectrum helps to prevent or control stretching and pack on extra calyxes during flower. They are the best kept secret! I really do not care much for the MH, I would get more T5's and go from them right to HPS. Or just do both for the best results. That's my 0.02 although I am sure I would get alot of shit for it around here lol. Some seriously flouro haters out there.

COconnect-
It's a pleasure following your progress in your grow. You are a big part of what the Organic Soil Forum is about.
I look forward to watching your progress going forward.
I understand the getting bored and planting more seeds. Don't be afraid of trimming back as the canopy gets full. You can clone some of the cuttings. When you cut the lights back to 12/12 you can dispose of the males as well as the male clones. That will make room for your plants to fill out and fill in the open spaces.
Keep us posted.

You're right DR. If I have the chance, I'll definitely grab some more T5s. I need these two for clones. :/

B1 at this point I'm going for some males to make some room. Lol, be careful what you wish for I know.

Alright, got the vacation setup in order. Had the MH up for a bit, dimmed, was finalizing the ventilation plans. Now off to somewhere much more sunny for disc golf and a break from life. Will be back in a week or so. I hope they don't miss me too much. Hopefully will have a friend water them near the 6day mark.. I know my seedlings will most likely die(sad) I couldn't get as much help as I wanted with them.

should have put a FAT layer of vermiculate in there to help retain soil moisture or some moisture packs from a cigar shop. just my tip, but you are prob already gone! enjoy the frolf! the stoner sport of champions!

Good news everyone!

The pants will receive a watering at day 4, which I'm hoping the seedlings will be okay with, I'd rather come back to rootbound than dead. Oh well, got the beans to start the forest again, I'd just hate to accidentally kill the perfect pheno. That damn not knowing deal. :/

Either way, the disc golf in FLA is better than home by superman esque laps and bounds. Enjoying life with the sirens.

You cannot give reputation to the same post twice.... three times.... four? Maybe if I try 7 or 8 times it'll work.

well in theory it is both the fruit of the earth and the "bread" of the earth but im pretty sure the words meanings are pretty long lost. Bread of the earth, I think of rastafari's who also follow the teachings of judaism but believe zion is in ethiopia... They smoke lambs bread... bread of the earth.. sacrifice of the lamb = lambs bread = sacrifice bread from the earth ;) atleast that's what it COULD mean who knows, I believe that it is saying that everything on this earth has a divine origin... and cannabis technically is a plant created by god. It must have a purpose like everything else.

There was a gnarly documentary I watched about how plants may actually control us, by giving us what we want in exchange for maintaining their genetic existence. This has helped to ensure certain plants survival. Some have said, I think it may have been Soma, that the fact that the plant can survive the underground nature in which it has been driven, is a testament to it's importance.

ah shit... time to roll another one! the super jack herrer is wearing off!

Thanks for the reply, that makes sense, and I share the feeling that what we "grow" may just be our overlords in disguise.

I for one accept our fate. Lol.

--------update time!

So of course, over the past 16 days the plants got watered once... not so bad for the GC in the big pots.... but I lost all but my.OG kush seedling. I cant believe it lived. Unfortunately now im looking for a home for them. I've been summoned back to the farm in cali for processing. Hash hash hash it's a tough existence up there. Fun, but but not always easy.
