funny thing, got in my car a couple days ago & drove 10 miles to the store & 10 miles back, then I went to shut off the heater in my car but realized that I'd never turned it on, it was sunny & 17F that day. The previous weeks brutal cold had me so acclimated that 17F & sunny was warm enough in the car w/o heat.

That's exactly it. 25 degrees with sun and it felt great!

Yea, today was pretty nice. I think it broke 40 up here too. It's too bad I was stuck at work though. The forecast shows another nice day for tomorrow but it sounds like we'll be back to "normal" by the weekend.

A bunch of people around here have lost their water due to the cities main water lines freezing. It's been so cold and the frost is so deep we are have a bunch of issues. Most of the cities in the area have issued warning for everyone to let their water run a small stream to help keep the lines open. So far I've been good though.

its so nice I feel super,,,, energized . the catfish are all grouped together in deep water... I expect 74f at mid day whilst I catch a few before they split up when spring comes.....peace

I got up this morning to 14" on the ground and still snowing. It took about three hours of snow removal including cleaning off the first few feet of my roof. After I was done I had to clean up a few areas again because another couple of inches came down while I was working on it. This winter has been just crazy. I don't have any where to put the snow. The driveway is now just big enough to get my car out and that's it.

I took the four wheeler to the store to get some lunch food for work tonight.

sorry to hear 'bout all the white shit bro, last yr the snowplowed walls of my driveway were piled 4+ feet high, took forever to melt.

another god forsaken cold spell on it's way, low temps for M/T/W/Th are -15/-15/-20/-22F all before windchill factoring, and the wind is howling now.

it is just mid teens here at night, cold for the time of year but nothing too abnormal. I'd root for cold over warm when abnormal is at stake but either is not good I guess, so I root for about normal only a little minus!

Brave and hardy souls. Once lived where it was cold, then I moved to where it was warm. When I was 200 pounds I could deal with the cold OK. Now I weigh a lot less, and feel chilly all the time. Would sure be nice to go be a dolphin and swim in warm waters ! My heart goes out to you all. Stay warm, eat well, be healthy. Enjoy your inner warmth !!!!

Well I feel for you man, warm is not my thing but I want to position myself as a hearty decesndant of Russians and do usually love the cold over warm but lately even when it is cool in my home I have been feeling it I admit. but will still take below over above average, other than the scattered day or 2 in a row above average, anyday. Go cooler than average any day!
