I only know of six people who KNOW the real story. Me, my wife, the two drivers, Berner and Jigga.
St. George (not his real name) is a killer breeder north of Laytonville. He crossed Cherry Pie with Chemdawg and called it CherryPieKush. It had a couple phenos, I settled on what is known as cookies. He gave it too a few of us and asked us not to call it Cherry Pie Kush yet because it was not stable and threw a few seeds. When the driver reached Berners he asked Berner to not call it CPK, Berner was eating actual girl scout cookies when it arrived and said it tasted like girl scout cookies. The day it showed up he named it and marketed it as girlscoutcookies. If you can find it in youtube comments you will see that when I quized Jigga he admits (We call that pre-cookies). Im sure they have front crossed it.
But as far as them saying that they created the strain, thats bullshit. They need to give at least Chemdawg his credit even if St. George wants to remain silent. Early in life it smells like lemon pledge (thin mints?) but if you wait till it is ready the smell changes to the cherry pie smell"

Schrews and I have. He's got pictures of it on his computer.

Ran it last year, didn't get the clones until august and still ended up with 1+ lb plants of super fire... In fact the animal cookies probably performed better, and sold faster, than any other strain last year. Don't expect large buds though.

the animal cookies is the definition of "rough", i was ready to compost them until they buds began frosting up like crazy..

I would say 5lb is possible with the Animal cookies given that ours got a very late start last year and still one plant almost hit 2lbs.

Hollow, fwiw, at the SF cup all the ICmag guys with their "fake" cuts kicked it with berner and cookiefam and sampled almost every kind of GSC. never once did any of them tell us "your animal and forum are watered down and fake"…it was all props and mentioning how good they are. the only controversy erupted about where exactly animal came from, and all that shit happened online afterwards and it was only between sear and fllux/jigga. if jiggas story is true, then animal is a REAL CUT that came directly from the fam's breeding projects. if sears story is true, its a real cut that was crossed to reversed Fire OG.

Flux brought his real "thin mint" cut jar by and everyone thought it was OGKB, maybe it was a subpar batch, but it didn't even come close to the other samples of OGKB, animal, etc. In fact, OGkushman showed up with a jar of some random GSC cut called cookie monster that he got from harbor side, very similar to forum. It was so good that berner repeatedly called for the jar so he could smoke out of it.

I've seen all the "original" cuts when the first packs came out 5+ years ago, the best "real" GSC from that circle is on the same exact level as a good OGKB or Forum cut grown well. And Animal isn't going anywhere regardless if they release real seeds, she's a force in her own right. Ask Floe or Prophet or anyone who's run a lot of the Animal and she's a damn good cut and not 'watered" down by any means. all of Floe's pics of the "blue cookies" are the Animal cut, and looks and smokes way better than any of the thin mint I've seen.

the only truth you have been saying, is that forum lacks potency compared to thin mint/ogkb. thats pretty true, forum is pretty and purple an the high is not a KO indica effect, its more euphoric and people really seem to like that. personally i prefer the high of Forum over OGKB/thin mint because i can smoke it all day long and still work on shit.

Prop and Misc are my official Cookie Story keepers. Add in Endur for his absolutely killer buds, and you have the official Cookie triad NOT swayed by cookiefam or other haters. If you want real reliable cookie info, these guys are it.
