if it's badass, close enough is good for me.
all im gonna say is that FORUM and ANIMAL are excepted by the masses(across the us...and hell im sure it's across the pond by now) as being THE cookies....cookie fam's lock down has literally driven them out of thier own creation...whether this cut is better than that cut is a different discussion but when 999 out of 1000 people recognize the animal or forum as legit cookies imho majority rules and now the forum and animal are the " legit cookies that had a nice mother that very few people have ever seen nugs from, thus making the legacy of the progeny far superior to that of it's parent"
and fwiw I have personally seen forum cut hit 30+%...taste 10x better than other samples of the same cut, and stink almost as much as some sour d... the grower makes the biggest impact on final quality on ANY given genetics....
and if cookie fam's cut is indeed BETTER than what is widely KNOWN as cookies(animal, forum) then they better start the same marketing tactics and just call it something else cuz the cookie monkier belongs to the animal and forum now...
it would have made a lot more sense for them to selectively leak their "real cookies" because as of right now the hype and name is more attached to the animal and forum based soley on widespread availability...
if you told me that some old man in the hills bred og and never gave a single cut out to any one ever(maybe a few seeds or two in early crops), yet everyone in the country is smoking an s1 og and recognizes it as "legitimate og". than I'd tell you the guy in the hills has something other than "legitimate og"...which may have been derived from the old man's cut, but is not known by the masses as said cut so it may as well just go by a completely different name all together.

St. George (not his real name) is a killer breeder north of Laytonville. He crossed Cherry Pie with Chemdawg and called it CherryPieKush. It had a couple phenos, I settled on what is known as cookies. He gave it too a few of us and asked us not to call it Cherry Pie Kush yet because it was not stable and threw a few seeds. When the driver reached Berners he asked Berner to not call it CPK, Berner was eating actual girl scout cookies when it arrived and said it tasted like girl scout cookies. The day it showed up he named it and marketed it as girlscoutcookies. If you can find it in youtube comments you will see that when I quized Jigga he admits (We call that pre-cookies). Im sure they have front crossed it.
But as far as them saying that they created the strain, thats bullshit. They need to give at least Chemdawg his credit even if St. George wants to remain silent. Early in life it smells like lemon pledge (thin mints?) but if you wait till it is ready the smell changes to the cherry pie smell"

no, not at all, just saying its unreal how people lie, cheat, steal for personal gain, ego has nothing to do with it, my ego left about 20 yrs ago.
chem dog hoarded the chem line for years, only a select few got the cuts, and what does rez dog have to do with chem dog ? two totally different things,
why is it that so many people believe it is great? people's opinion on any strain will vary, simply put different strokes for different folks... and imho as with any thing carrying this much hype, there are a lot of expectation to live up to, and some folks have different expectations. some people don't like og...I call em crazy but they're opinion is valid nonetheless...can't please em all... and fwiw there aren't enough people here with first hand experience of the cookiefam cut to validate whether it's any good or not but of the pics ive seen on ig of jiggas, I'd rather have the forum/ animal and somehow I forgot about this one in the last post, the OGKB....they all look 5x better than jiggas.....the entire cookie craze has blown up FAR beyond what that circle of homies did...I'm not trying to take anything away from what they've done I'm simply noting that t "fake cookies" are more legit than "real cookies" at this point

I saw in another post that you haven't seen the sherbet , is that because you haven't asked for it ? Seems like if you have DIRECT access to buy a quantity of flowers you'd be smoking on Sherbet, Y , Snowman , Golden Ticket , Kush , Chocolate Diesel etc., as well?

Ya I didn't make the original post I just copied it from another thread on here. Was just really trying to ask about the legitimacy of the story being that Ojd seems to be a stand up guy and has a lot of respect in this community.

I think by looks alone I would rather smoke kool kushes forum cut over jiggas grown buds just my opinion. Plus the bag appeal looks like it would be way nicer with the forum over what jigga posted.
