Surf goes vert

Got the room full and gals starting to take off :woohoo:

The gals in the ys mix are kinda clawing but they should be all good, from what I gather the EC is probably still kinda high in that mix due to the interaction between SRP and CaCo3.

The clone to the side is just a mother plant to be I got vegging in this extra space for now

Still coming along nicely :watchplant: my soil is super alive in these rooms, like millions of soil mites, springtails, roves and other little homies. I really like that

Thanks siskiyou, I used some of your tips on my last round!

Little update, clones really starting to get going now. Gonna give them a compost tea with kelp and comfrey this morning.

Came back from cannabis cup to find the gals loving life, some serious growth in there while i was gone haha

Been hitting the back gals with tm-7, epsom salt and ferti-nitro. That ferti stuff smells pretty interesting and foams up like no other. Front plants getting horsetail/yarrow/tm7/agisil teas. In a week probably I'm planning to start training them over to the wall, right now I'm thinking I'll just loop string or somthing around them and pushin pin the string to the wall.

That looks like a pretty cool product, tm-7 is all those trace minerals/humic acid+epsom salt usp from 99c cent store. Can't really beat that. I have some seacrop I use occasionally as well.

This thread is in need of a update ;)

Plants have been kinda suffering from the either the cold or from the growstones. They all have some sort of magnesium deficieny and I'm pretty sure there should be plenty magnesium in these mixes, at least in the CC mix. Regardless when I water today I'm gonna give them all a tiny bit of epsom salt and a epsom foliar. I've started training them to the wall with thumb tacks, figure i'll fill up the lower part of the wall and flip.

Looks like they're doing well Surf. I hope you plan to do something about that fan before they get too much bigger, would hate to see you lose a branch or two due to it.

if one subscribes to the idea of defoliation...then auto defoliation seems like a good idea!

I don't think the fan should really be an issue, I don't want the plants growing in that zone. Worst case scenario I'm sure I can ghetto rig something haha

Didn't want to do this but I desperately needed the room and didn't really need these plants as I accomplished my goal of trying out these different soil mixes. Still planning vert for my next room(after the initial horizontal seed run) but for now this is solely a vert veg room haha :)

I defoliate with my extraction fan. Every once in a while I have to pull a cola back out of the extraction fan hole in the cieling.
