More than enough to melt steel. What is amazing is that they stood as long as they did.

Jet A (used in US only) or Jet A-1 is what is used around the world in jets and is Kerosene based with a open air burning temp of 500°F-599°.

No, you are wrong. And you are trying to distort facts to fit your theory.
All open air flames, from the flame on your bic lighter to a bunsen burner, to a log burning in the fireplace has an open air burn temp of around 1600 to 1800f.
And once you insulate it, and slow down it's heat losses, it goes up. Auto-ignition temps are just the temp it takes for it to START combusting. Then
the temp rises rapidly after that. 500 to 599f? Where did you get that? A oven gets that hot.
You can hold you hand in a 500f oven for a while without being burned. Not so with an open flame.
All this info is readily available for research, which leads me to believe that you are intentionally obfuscating to forward your own agenda.

Most steel has other metals added to tune its properties, like strength, corrosion resistance, or ease of fabrication. Steel is just the element iron that has been processed to control the amount of carbon. Iron, out of the ground, melts at around 1510 degrees C (2750°F). Steel often melts at around 1370 degrees C (2500°F).

Addendum (8/26/2011): I answered this question many years ago and it has been referenced in many different web sites and reports. There has been one misrepresentation that has come from that. Many sites refer to the difference in the melting point of steel and the burning temperature of jet fuel as proof that the World Trade Center could not have fallen from the aircraft fires. What those authors fail to note is that while steel melts at around 1,370°C (2500°F) it begins to lose its strength at a much lower temperature. The steel structure of the World Trade Center would not have to melt in order for the buildings to lose their structural integrity. Steel can be soft at 538°C (1,000°F) well below the burning temperature of jet fuel.

This is an example of how you can be completely correct in analyzing the details, but still miss the big picture.

Yes, I do believe that prolonged burning of kerosene can weaken steel enough to soften it and potentially cause it to collapse.

But the architect who designed the World Trade Center does not believe that burning jet fuel caused the WTC to collapse the way it did.

Why did the building fall so evenly and symmetrically? Wouldn't you expect that the fires would have been unevenly spread across all the support structures....thus causing the top of the building to start to 'tip over' and deform, as certain structural members were exposed to more heat and weakened faster than others....rather than it being just fine one minute, then suddenly and completely collapsing directly downward into its own footprint?

(NaturalNews) The World Health Organization (WHO) is the subject of a new investigation aimed at uncovering what really took place during the 2009 global influenza pandemic, which led to tens of millions of people being vaccinated for so-called "swine flu." A joint investigation by the British Medical Journal (BMJ) and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism (BIJ) has already uncovered major conflicts of interest at WHO, whereby vaccine companies profited heavily from the pandemic and the mass hysteria that it generated.

The investigation is focused specifically on the emergency advisory committee that was assigned to make official recommendations to WHO about how to plan for the pandemic, which was fraught with controversy from the start. Comprising this advisory panel were individuals highly connected to pharmaceutical companies, say BMJ and BIJ, many of whom had a vested financial interest in promoting antiviral drugs and influenza vaccines, which have been linked to causing narcolepsy and other disorders.

Big Pharma reportedly held a $4 billion stake in developing the swine flu vaccines that WHO would later push on the public through propaganda and fear. And the reason that WHO so readily accepted these drugs as viable responses to the pandemic is because its key advisors, many of whom are still unknown because they were intentionally kept secret, worked on behalf of the vaccine industry to see these drugs thrust into the limelight of the pandemic-planning process.

"Key scientists advising the World Health Organization on planning for an influenza pandemic had done paid work for pharmaceutical firms that stood to gain from the guidance they were preparing," reads a report on the joint investigation. "These conflicts of interest have never been publicly disclosed by WHO, and WHO has dismissed inquiries into its handling of the A/H1N1 pandemic as 'conspiracy theories.'"

Some of these drugs had never even been proven to work, let alone proven safe, and yet they were widely distributed as the emergency "cure" for H1N1.

Both oseltamivir and zanamivir have been around since the late 1990s, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulators really had to stretch the flimsy data that they received on the two drugs from their respective manufacturers in order to approve them. The FDA, it turns out, initially opposed recommending zanamivir, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, during the pandemic, because the data on its safety and efficacy was severely lacking -- the agency later changed it's mind.

"After Dr [Michael] Elashoff's review (he had access to individual patient data and summary study reports) the FDA's advisory committee voted by 13 to 4 not to approve zanamivir on the grounds that it was no more effective than placebo when the patients were on other drugs such as paracetamol," adds the report. "Dr Elashoff's view was that zanamivir was no better than placebo -- and it had side effects."

The pandemic, as most people now know, ultimately turned out to be a complete flop. Many individuals ended up rejecting both the drugs and the vaccines that were being pushed on them by the government, which means that these taxpayer-purchased drugs and vaccines are now sitting unused and on the verge of expiration in warehouses all across the globe.

law enforcement: Florida State Trooper, US Customs Agent.
education: teacher, assistant principal, principal.
current school safety expert: trained key personnel at over 4,000 US school districts, and over 3,500 school safety officers.

His conclusion after ten months of motivated investigation:

“In my professional opinion, [Sandy Hook was] a scripted event… in planning for maybe two, two and a half years.”

law enforcement parked 1/4 mile away upon arrival. Why didn’t they rush to a heart-wrenching emergency if it really occurred?

this “event” included a traffic sign lit with the message, “everyone must sign in.” Officials refuse any comment on this element that would be present for a staged event/drill.

no names were listed for the 26 children and chorus director at the 2013 Super Bowl event in honor of Sandy Hook. The children resemble the alleged shooting victims. It’s unimaginable to not list these names for such a huge deal.
no lawsuits filed by parents for negligence against school district. This is unheard of.
a shooter with Aspergers would have poor motor skills and muscle tone – how did he carry all the gear and shoot with such precision? This combination is impossible to imagine.
2 homicide investigators threatened Mr. Halbig for making inquiries consistent with his professional duties to learn about this event for future school safety.
Newtown Public Schools won’t return any calls. Mr. Halbig says this non-cooperation to contribute information for other schools’ safety is unheard of.
the FBI classified the report on Sandy Hook. This has never been done before, and indicates a cover-up of all the evidence that this was a staged event.
radio transmissions are consistent in tone and content for a drill, not an actual emergency.
multiple weapons reported at a limited crime scene were never found. This is not credible.
law enforcement sent a kindergarten girl from the hall to stay at the crime scene of room 8 to be alone with dead bodies. This is a ridiculous claim that demands investigation and answers.
no parents viewed the bodies of their children. This is also unheard of.
no documents are being released via Freedom of Information Act requests. This is unheard of.
trauma services were never requested. This would never occur.
tearing down the school is consistent with destruction of evidence, given the HUGE gaps between official accounts and the evidence.
no bio-hazard company was contacted to clean blood, bodily fluids. This is impossible.
Mr. Halbig’s inquiries of who installed the school security system has been met with silence. This is unheard of to not get this information to improve other schools.
Mr. Halbig has the professional expertise to conclude the official story is impossible, and to demand arrests in order for the public to have the truth.

Good catch. It was a different person who had that belief.

When interviewed in 1993, Lead WTC Structural Engineer John Skilling told The Seattle Times:

Lead WTC Structural Engineer John Skilling was rightfully confident that neither the impact of a large passenger jet nor the ensuing office fires was capable of bringing down the Twin Towers “We looked at every possible thing we could think of that could happen to the buildings, even to the extent of an airplane hitting the side… Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed. [But] the building structure would still be there.”

I was going by memory when I posted that, and obviously remembered wrong. So you again got the small detail correct, but still missed the larger argument.

Not only were the towers designed to survive crashes of large jet aircraft, but they were designed to potentially survive multiple plane crashes. This assertion is supported by Frank A. Demartini, the on-site construction manager for the World Trade Center, who said on January 25, 2001:
“The building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it. That was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building probably could sustain multiple impacts of jetliners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door—this intense grid—and the jet plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting.”
