Look for the leaf abnormality... On the leaves there will be a spot where instead of the serrations being symmetrical, there will be 2 small teeth opposite 1 tooth if you get me.

It's a gangly floppy plant, that branches like fuck, and has skinny spindly branches, branches have a reddish/purpleish stripe to them...Top colas will bend to the floor if you grow them beyond small plant and don't support them. It would grow along the floor if you let it.

the guy I got if from has had it a really long time.. he doesn't go on any forums so he doesn't have any affiliation with any of the exodus drama or what ever that you see online. hes the same guy who gave me another really old uk cut which is definitely legit.. so im sure it has some credibility. ive not flowered it but seen a sample of it which really did stink.

I think the Brightside Cheese no longer lives. Everybody seem to lose it at the same time got back what is said to be the Brightside clone from TC but imho it isn't the same plant its been put down to genetic drift but plants don't change that much. The new one yields three times as much and grows upwards a nice cross that has retained about a third of the originals smell. Not trying to stir up bad feeling just a shame the original is no longer around. Buff.

Tooth= serration. One pointy bit=1 tooth. Yeah, I'm talking about the double serration.

Gotta say, I really miss that funk, stress inducing as it is. I love complex flavours, and the cheese is definitely that.

Just some toughts:

I was thinking if the original clone could be somehow be crossed with somenthing and try to work the line down selecting stinky,stinky phenos. Could be named STILTON let´s say.

Posible mating what about Road Kill Skunk ?
Sams always says that he has seeds on the fridge, but no interest in doing somenthing with them.

I don´t know what is RKS but Reading the comments of american tokers It looks was really stinky.
I think could work; cheese is Skunk and RKS too, same genetic source, but developed in diferent lines/smells.

Besides this I know there was Psychosis too ( NL#5 X Haze) if I´m not wrong.
Do you know if they are more clones up there, coming from selections made by Exodus guys??

Shame you english blokes never got to taste or smell the original RKS Afghani skunk from the states. Smelled like a skunks bung hole and was great smoke. Disappeared for the same reason. That unmistakable smell.

Psycosis ain't nl5 x haze,bud (Sensi s old jem is a totally different smoke.Way more taste for one thing ,but ya do hear lots of stuff...) get them separately and you will see

I had not heard the "Carp Bait" story before, but many of the others regarding the origin of Cheese repeated here, have come up before.

The one I believed more than most was the story of the guy who lived near Exodus, grew with mates, luckily kept 1 clone of a whole pack of SS Sk1, turned out to be the stinker. One of his mates, with kids around, named it "cheese" as a codeword, it never smelt of Cheese. He then went to a rave at HM, they ended up passing to to the Exodus Collective, they then passed it to some people, others got crosses and plenty of bullshit. A mate who was around that scene had little time for them, I bumped into a few at Glastonbury and they seemed like big headed twats.

Another friend who was at the heart of the traveller/rave scene now works in a shop, chats to lots of people gave me the one I have here and spread in N Spain, red/purple zig zag stems that are pretty floppy. After many years growing it, she finally started putting out the corn row bud tops that others here have shown. For years I thought that was a "fake" cut, but kept my mouth shut as this subject has enough nonsense and argument flying around already.

That was most likely dutch anyway lol tbh around the 90s there was loads of gnarely skunk around in the uk

You´re right; all of them straight from Lidl.
I go there just to buy cheese&yoghurt

The Buds are cheese from seeds (afeminated seeds).
I did grow a couple;they were not very look like.
One was more sweet&skunki.
The other more afghani.Both were nice smoke.

Thing is she did not do this until recently, this is round at my friend Mr A´s, other crops he did looked "more normal" .. no corn.
