First time after drinking almost everyday for six years+

: I'm doing it to get my vehicle licence back.Two Fails allready!!
First time they spotted thc in my blood
2 nd time I got prepared and ordered some piss blood and hair flush from the states BUT! I knew I was fked* when the doc said take ya shirt off. Eeeik physical test. . Own fault. Arg.


*because of my swollen liver/pancreas(?) mis-shaped Stomach
In the middle of the/my stomach when you tense up it forms like a hill top shape through some excretted(?) fluid or gas from one or both of them organs the right side swollen too

Yea pretty darn serious shit. Glad To Get this far.. Got to get em wheels back Mann

I am going to a SuperBowl Party and I will not drink.

It seems as though my wife is stopping also, but I don't think she will last.

Hahaha, here's a little update from me. I went to my mates birthday party last weekend after having not touched a drop of grog for 2 full months. I knew i was going to drink and was fine with that, i never say am going to quit drinking alcohol on special occasions, more just to use it responsibly and in moderation on the random times when i do.

So anyway, i get there start drinking beers straight away, before you know pounded a 6 pack back and chased it down with a few of my mates dirty ciggies. I never smoke since 6 years ago except with this one friend when we drink together. Im sure others have these friends too About 6 hours after that i have no idea much i drink, definitely alot, and i found myself very nauseous at around 3am that morning when i lay my head down to go to sleep. It must have been that last ciggie i lamented, as i positioned myself head first out the bedroom window at my friends house, and proceeded to be sick for the next hour (no exaggeration, it was actually an hour

Alcohol lol, i guess im too much of an animal for it

Sober +6 days I think. I'd been just having few beers, not been drunk in months. But I've stopped all of it. I drank a shot of canna olive oil tonight before my steak. Feels really nice!

Got sober for one week before falling off the wagon. Next time two for sure. I felt soo good wish I could have kept it up. O well ill just keep trying. I quit chewing bacco and can and will quit the to! Its super hard when drinking is so embedded in the rual Midwestern culture and every where I turn.

Good call 420somewhere! I've kinda greased the skids by telling a buddy who'll be at the party "I think I'm good on booze actually."

I'll be telling people "Oh, no thanks, I was about to go outside and hit this pen.."

I've also concluded that I'm mostly OK telling people that lately, when I have beers (even just 2 or 3), I feel like shit the next morning. "Oh, you didn't know your friend was a big pussy? Yep. I am!"

real friends understand your problem with drinking and don't care if you quit its the fake friends who rag you about it .most of my friends drink and when we go fishing or do dinners or what ever .I get fruit juices to take with me or order that while they have wines or mixed drinks .no one who loves you and is a true friend wants to see you suffer from your actions aloha cls ps remember every day is a new day and if you slip you slipped it does not mean your a failure it means you just have to try a little harder and learn to care for yourself before you care what other people think about your sobriaty

I think the only people that would give someone grief about making a lifestyle choice not to drink are young kids, or very immature adults. Peer pressure is a joke, anyone that cares about what your doing should learn to focus more on their own life and not worry about everyone else's

After my horrendous night drinking with my buddy a few weeks back i immediately resumed the no alcohol regime. Im finding it a total breeze now, i don't even think about buying alcohol anymore, first time for that for me!

I definitely agree with SPG previous post about looking and feeling healthier as well. I lost about 6-7kg just from not drinking (diet & exercise remained constant). Im now at my perfect weight for my bodytype. I also never have to worry about drinking & driving now, another added bonus. Sooooo glad i did this, fk alcohol yo

This might sound sort of silly but whenever I am at the bar with friends now I order juice with soda water. The little bit of kick from the soda water makes it more enjoyable (less sweet) and I get to have a drink in my hand. Often times a bar won't even charge or it will be a couple bucks. Life is MUCH better without alcohol!!!!
