Micro Vertical SCRoG 70w hps

Hi ICmag!

This time i want to try vertical growing in my micro grow box (60x50x35cm), with 70w hps & cooltube.

There will be 4 plants, 2x Cr3am Caramel by SS, and 2x W4ppa by PS.
After some days in plastic cups, now the plants are inside the definitive pot. Only one pot (20 liters) for 4 plants.
Above the pot there is a wood structure, with plastic grid:

This schema explain how i will proceed in flowering:

Now, during vegetative period, the light will be a UFO led 150w, for keep them compact and cover the grid till 1/3 of the total height, and then switch to 12/12.

Soil composed of:

-50% biobizz all mix
-30% coco fiber(u-gro)
-20% perlite

Update time!

I'm watering with 0,5ml of Fish-Mix in 0,5 liter of water.
Next time only water.

Within some days i will start to tie the plant on the grid.

Our grows are somewhat similar in that I veg in with LED and flower with HPS. I start my seeds and sprouts under CFL. But I use 150W HPS and no cool tube. The heat is probably why my attempts at vert have failed. I get much better results having my bulb up top of cab and horizontal.

I noticed all your plants in the same tub. I have read the roots get tangled and compete for nutrients which slows growth. I accidentally had two seeds sprout in the same pot once, that seemed to happen. Do you plan to separate later or are you going to stay like that?

In any case, good luck. BTW: Liking the tube. Thinking I might need to make one.

The UFO led has been sobstituted with the 70w hps, without cooltube.

And I start to tie the plants on the grid, and put a met full of water and argil for increase humidity.

Probably monday i'll switch on 12/12.

mmmh.. it's my first run with this light, this soil and these strains..
I think i'll be able to give my opinion when this run will be finish.

Now i can say that with a vertical grow you can capitalise on the emission of lumens. Every branches and every twigs can be touched by the light.
I think that this should bring a bigger yield.

I'm a big fan of these micro grows, this one looks nice as well.
