It's all good. I've dealt with trademarks and patents for a lot of years. If you look at Sensi Seeds you will see them use the 'R' designation and can only assume they've got that strain/varietal name registered in the EU. I never checked the database there.
Yes if Humbleguy has a registered trademark some may owe him a few bucks as he would control it's use.
That 'R' in a little circle denotes a registered trademark. Maybe he should file. I doubt the USPTO would grant it for cannabis though
Technically using an 'R' designation like that, if it is not a registered trademark, is a violation and opens one up to prosecution. I doubt that would happen though in this case.
The almighty 'R'...®...some companies will spend a lot of money defending that. For 'reversed' maybe you guys need to come up with a reversed image of 'R' but not in a circle.
